A second week in the "morning after" sneak peeks. Something I really enjoy about these types of scenes is that sometimes you just need some good old fashioned sweetness.
And this scene in particular has moment so sweet that I almost threw up. Can't wait for you Els lovers to see it.

Elspeth already explained what she wanted in life in the last update: Peace of mind, a battalion of kids (nobility's utmost legacy is continuation of the name) , and a loving husband who knows her to the fullest.
And she also explained she doesn't aim to be anyybody. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it.

Truthfully, Elsie is the most logical LI for the MC. She has so many in common with Valentine. She's an ex soldier. She actually enjoys kicking ass while claiming she is a pacifist. She is scary smart, and Valentine is also very smart, though he plays dumb jock all the time. Those who play the game also witnessed how easy for him to actually keep a normal conversation and making intricate plans while he is in fact fighting in the cage, with pros, nevertheless.

Viridiana, Ines, and Amrit are all teens, who can change their minds in an instance.
Kana makes a mock of everything Valentine upholds, maybe except loyalty.
Serena is just a workaholic, who wants to fuck.

Only Elspeth and Viridiana would stick with Valentine through thick and thin, but for different reasons.
Vi feels indebted to and infatuated with Valentine. She grew up looking up to him, and saved by him. This is actually the cloesest to incest this game goes, and even though most of us enjoy that, in a more normal setting that shouldn't be appealing to the MC.
On the other hand, Elspeth, even though with so many secrets, already proved she'd be there, on Valentine's side. Although that was just two high morons on the beach, we also know that Els isn't intimidated by anybody, at least so far. She is also quite traditional where it matters. And about "burning water" comment of Els, you guys know that she will learn to walk on water if she needs to do, in order to get what she wants, right?

Honestly, this is the only AVN I play for the story, maybe the only exception is Being a DIK. And in a this kinda, ordinary world setting Elspeth is the most natural choice.

I will naturally see all the possible endings, but I kinda agree, Els is pretty much a perfect match for the MC. Not even going to attempt a ranking system here, all of the main girls are sweethearts but Els will be my first choice when it comes to it. The rest I would have a hard time deciding.

I wholeheartedly agree that Els is best girl, but the heart wants what the heart wants. So I won't fault anyone for choosing a different LI in this game. Especially if it's the relatively low-stress and always comforting companionship of Kana.

The beauty of this story is replaying all Lis and reading/playing their povs, some games with the girl that almost dies in a bridge. (other paths was pure Snoozefest)

I recommend giving it a try. The love interests are all very attractive, and there is a lot of variety regarding their appearances and personalities, so everyone will likely be able to find a relationship or two of interest. Beyond that, STWA: The Unbroken has great visual storytelling, characterization, compelling conflict, and the sex scenes are well done too. My only tiny warning is that the slower pacing at the start of the game can feel a bit off-putting, at least from my experience, but only if you aren't attracted to Amrit or feel uncomfortable with the coach-student dynamic when deciding whether or not to romance her. Just give it some time to move past that initial limited interaction if you aren't "feeling it" with her, and the world really opens up and feels much larger (in more ways than one *coughElspethcough* ).

A potential 3rd Elspeth Title screen. Not sure If I'll even use this one, but here's a little look at it anyway.
As of writing 3617 renders are posed, 3223 rendered. At the moment it's looking like final render count will sneak in just under or just over 4000 for the update. Hopefully by end of next week I should be completely posed. Then it's just up to the hardware to do it's job.
When not posing I'll be finishing up coding my Alpha build so the testers have plenty of time to do their work.

Just a little silly note, This March marks my four year development anniversary. God I'm old. Depending on how crunch is working I'd love to do an official anniversary stream later this month. Maybe do a playthrough of the Author and do sort of a live dev commentary? As a final good bye to the OG Author. Of course if I'm swamped this will have to wait.
Additional note over the next few days or so you'll notice some Patreon changes, nothing big or important, just a fresh coat of paint, basically had the same intro paragraph since I opened the page. And as exciting as they are to read I don't think dev logs from 2020 are worth keeping up so stuff like that will be getting cleaned out.
I'll have some additional news on Steam releases for both Author and Unbroken forthcoming because people do ask, but right now getting my current release finished and released to the public is my focus. Appreciate the patience on Steam news.

So i just played the game, i had a day off so finished the game in one day... ,i can say its very good and beautiful game i put it on my top 10 easily.
i love Elspeth and i choose her path (i slept with the with serena early at the game because she just wanted fuckbuddy, and pursued Elspeth until we slept in the latest chapter)... on the next chapters im gonna turn down serena too..
In my eyes though in this game there is no multiple LI ...its just MC and Elsepth FMC with few side chicks for additional content...this not even a contest , the difference is huge between the LIs and ELsepth which i don't really mind it though because ELspeth is awesome FMC and her character is beautifully written moreover i love her interactions with MC and their chemistry when they are together.

For me it's just okay Elspeth is the only real reason for me to play this game personally. I don't really care or into the story at all other than the flashbacks and finding out what happened to VI in the past. The boxing stuff or whatever doesn't interest me.
