To touch on this, when I made that post a long time ago the models really barely moved a single facial muscle. When I recently came back to the game a few weeks ago the difference was astounding. He really took the criticism there (I'm sure it wasn't on here only) and made changes. I'd say he's up there with the best facial expressions in the industry now. Great damn work.
Some of the models might need another minute to think about it.

Vi is doing the honors this week , with a different look than usual, wonder what it could mean?
Anywho on my end script is finished (except for editing) so there we go, much excitement to be had.
As of today 896 renders finished of the 896 posed. I said I was aiming to hit 800 and switch focus, but decided to aim for an even thousand before I did that.
Animations still in the same place as a result of the above information.
A quick Steam update I have to discuss before I let you go. Despite my efforts I'm still not exactly pleased with where Author is at, and still don't think it's quite ready. I'd been pretty adamant I wanted to release it first on Steam, but at this point it's actually hindering me to wait. So after discussing with some fellow devs I decided that since I'm sitting on a game that's essentially already Steam ready that I'll put Unbroken on Steam first and just get it out of the way. So parts 1-7 aka all current content will be put on Steam as release and then 8-12 or 13 (depending on if I need to extend 12 an extra chapter) will be their own release.
This is currently the best use of my time as the only things I needed to add for the build are things I was working on anyway. Plus I can work on them while things are rendering in the background so two birds one stone, I've always stated that Unbroken is the priority so as a result it's just the smarter option at the moment. So the long requested gallery and more music/sound are being added. As well as that UI overhaul I mentioned a month ago or so. The good news is I already sent the build off to Steam so page is ready and can go up once they approve it. Which clears up a bunch of crap on my plate that I've just sort of been putting off.
So TLDR:
- Unbroken 1-7 on Steam soonish.
- Hoping to release Unbroken part 8 here on Patreon the same week, to make it an extra exciting release.
- That should give me enough time to get the last bits of work I need on the Author finished between Unbroken 8 and 9

It could mean nothing, but on certain paths Els has some of her first possible "interested in girls" points in the last update, all of which involved conversations about Vi.
That aside, I could see something possibly coming of that rivalry. Not any time soon for sure, but maybe later. Of the potential planned throuples (of which there are currently two, but were originally three), Vi+Ines is the most obvious, but after that I have Amrit+Ines and Vi+Els as my guesses.

eh, iirc all of them can get that variable, but according to the dev not all of them will have the option for more than a monogamous relationship, so I wouldn't put much faith in it

True, but I think some consideration is merited when there's additions to it in the most recent updates (as compared to earlier updates, which could be more reflective of dropped paths).
As for actual narrative reasoning, I noticed that Els' reaction to MC being with Vi is a good bit different on paths where you have sex with LIs as soon as possible vs waiting a bit longer. On the second path, Vi actually beats Els to the punch and there's almost a hint of... sisterly admiration for her courage in going for it.
I agree it's not the most likely of combos, but I see the possibility. Especially with the most recent previews hinting they'll be spending more bonding time together (much like Amrit and Ines have been).
