What can I say? There are a lot of beautiful women in the world, and a bit of light fornication would be perfectly fine. But then there are the ones that trigger those other urges, where recreation must become procreation. For whatever reason, that's the one that takes over when I gaze upon Ines.
We're all sick fuckers here, bro, but you, my friend, are your own special flavor. Salute! :coffee:

I wonder if perhaps they are referring to The Author.
Yes, that would be the first part. STWA - The Author, followed by STWA - Unbroken. No idea what the next one will be, but there's supposed to be at least one more. Unbroken is also getting another book or two, right?

On another note, coming back to earlier discussions about Els' pacifism, and how it's not really pacifism. It's pretty clear on my new playthrough that it's her cover for her PTSD. Watching any violence, like the fights, brings on her PTSD attack, for example: after Val's first fight. She's comfortable with her inner violent tendencies, and tactical outlook, but doesn't want it out in the open. Since she was in Military Intelligence, she probably can't discuss anything in her military career, not specifically, so has to deal with the PTSD mostly herself. It's pretty tough.

maybe but author and unbroken don't have anything to do with each other besides mcs know each other (had 1 meeting).

up to stwa if author ends up in steam.
You are completely fucking wrong. They were all very tight friends growing up, split apart at the end of high school. They go over that at the beginning of both games. Chris and Brent were in the Author, Davis and Valentine in Unbroken.

Tbf when they see each other they mention something like they havent seen each other for like 8 years or something like that? So while they grew up together and still hold each other dear, the real friendship kinda died and i agree that no knowledge of author is needed to play unbroken.

Kinda surprised me that valentine not even tried to meet him after the suicide attempt apparently.

Imo the author isnt really that good of a avn anyway, unbroken is so much better

by today's standards maybe not so much, but it was far from bad.
It falls exactly in the mediocre/average bracket for me, characters were okay, story was okay, mc was good, romance rather bad, nothing really outstanding.

Im not the biggest fan of the devs approach of "mc can fuck everyone without any consequences the whole time and just makes a decision in the end" which is repeated in unbroken but flows better here somehow, at least for me (would still prefer a different approach in unbroken too tho).

I think i played it about 3 years ago

edit: but i think a short(er) and maybe more average first avn is not this bad for a dev, way better than starting off over ambitious and never getting it finished or reworking it the whole time

stwa mc couldn't fuck all for a whole game and this might have diverged paths at some point.

Witch can be seen as a Fare example shown in this title of 'why' steering clear of NDA's is favorable.
Seeking encouragement/advice is muted in compliance of said Intel, limits room for self recovery.
Being Silenced, in formal integrity to rules of agenda has ill'effects unequivocally.

never said it was great or anything, just that it's far from a bad AVN. There are a lot of shitty ones out there, I know because I tried a lot, and it's not one of them. And the dev improved a lot of things with Unbroken.
