Loved "The Author" so will be playing this for sure - once I get through the backlog that I've still got to complete
Sadly I find myself once again uninterested in the girls...
Amrite (am I spelling that right?) is the MC's mentee, that's a bad idea.
Elspeth is as intimidating as she possibly can be.
Viridian Dynamics (if you remember that show) is the MC's surrogate little sister.
Rena is his lawyer
Jogging Girl seems a bit too intense.
Did I miss anyone?
Still, just first impressions but... I feel more of a brotherly thing than a horndog get them alone in the closet for 7 seconds type of thing...

the best feeling. i mostly agree with you, though. like the last game, only one girl in any way grabbed me this time around. probably that's a good thing, generally. strong diversity versus homogeneity, but i guess you're left out in the cold again bud.
Yes, because they can move on to someone else, he got over his writer's block, got a hot girl, and has a show being made out of his book. Not like the Author murdered them all...
The LI feel like they need a protector or mentor, the only one who doesn't is the lawyer and that's just a way to mess up a good client/attorney relationship.

LOL, poor girls have to settle for a non-monster dick. The girls in this game are interesting.
I take good stories seriously. This dev writes good stories with interesting characters. If it was just a simple fap story I'd not care as much (or at all)...
Hey, I just want to say you write a great story. Really interested to see where this goes. I like all the characters but the only ones who seem like viable love interests where it doesn't feel like either an abuse of trust or have the potential to fuck up relationships are the lawyer and jogging girl. However, I know I should hold off from making any final decisions.

You weren't the only one. I find myself gradually loosing interest in the plot and in some of the dames... and then I find myself bored after certain update, new LIs keep coming and the MC.. I kinda didn't like him to be honest.
The dames in this game look gorgeous, but I better wait for the pt 3 and then give it a try.

One booboo with the story though, Davis was suppose to be coming down by train as stated in the phone call to the MC, but dies in a ship accident?

Yeah, it definitely petered out for me. I know it was a good story but once we hit the Kim moment it coasts to an ending. This one started much more interesting and has me more hooked, but we shall see how it evolves.

Dru wasn't in the banner of the first so could always be a surprise entrant.
He was hoping to snare you with one of them, give it time they may grow on you.
Amrit I like. He's only coaching her and there are no rules about coaches banging their trainee's. Rose Namajunas is engaged to Pat Barry who's one of her trainers. It's pretty common.
Elspeth I really like, she's my fave so far.
Vi I need to get to know better, bit hard to think about wanting a relationship when the conversation has been about her dead family. Hardly romantic.
Rena i'm not sure about, friendzoned her so far, want to see if she's worth going all the way through the game for before I give her what she's asking for.
Jogging girl i'm not sure about.
All in all i'm loving it so far. Much stronger start the The Author with a few good women and some I want to learn more about. Loving the MMA mix in, i'm a HUGE fan of combat sports.
These aren't quite porn games, they are very story heavy.

I only meant those shown won't be the only ones, previous love interests will not show up as LI's in future games.
You may see a cameo or 2 but you won't ever get the chance at the previous MC's girls.
