Yes it is new to them, which is why they hired professionals who've worked on other games before to work with them.

Hades, Persona 5 Strikers, Personal 5 Royale, Fenyx Rising, the new Ori game, Risk of Rain 2, the Final Fantasy 7 remake, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Outer Worlds, A Plague Tale: Innocence, Metro Exodus, Disco Elysium, and I could actually go in, and that was just in the past 2 years. I really fucking hate this stupid bullshit "No good games have come out since 20XX". You're wrong, there's great fucking games out and still coming out, both indie and AAA, and they're not hard to find.How many quality games have you seen in recent years?

Yes, there is no dispute about tastes, but there were also such as Cyberpunk 2077, Fallout 76, Assassins and other shit at full price, the name of which I have already forgotten.

You're right, there's definitely bad stuff that's come out too, but that's always the case. But to say that there's not been quality games is just blatantly false, there's plenty of great games coming out still.

- We only talk about finished game.
- We talk about porn game with not only good smut content but also good gameplay or other inner qualities not related to porn.

There are many people who would disagree with you. Your enjoyment and opinion of the game, any game, is subjective to yourself, but there are games that are good objectively, just like there are games that are objectively bad. Divinity 2, objectively good. The Avenger's game, objectively bad. Can you still have fun with objectively bad games? Of course! That doesn't make them good though.
Maybe he did mean that, but when he just writes "How many quality games have you seen in recent years?" without specifying what kind, then it's hard to discern what he meant don't you think? As for your point, I can't really give my opinion, I don't really follow porn game development. I have ones that I like, both finished and otherwise, but I don't really follow many developers outside of like 1 or 2 that I really like. Also personally feel like that's a bit strict of a requirement. There are plenty of porn games with great art but mediocre gameplay and vice versa, but they can still be good. An artist is probably not going to be a great game developer, and a game developer is probably not gonna be a great artist, and hiring one or the other is generally not cheap.

Yeah, industry gets more and more monopolised, fucking creators and gamers, its bad that we didnt listent to grandpa Marx.
But I see subverse as a cheap shot at us, people of culture. Lets be serious, this game is not going to have a big living world like "sid meiers pirates" (yeah im that old, i played that) its not going to have tactic fights on fire emblem level, not even on pheonix point level. Maybe it will have good shoot-em-up gameplay, but this is not the bleeding edge genire, not in 2021. So what we have? Dating sim with exeptionally good animation. Im seriously doubt it should cost 50$

Okay, they never promised any of that though. They're not promising a AAA game with incredibly new and unique gameplay or anything super fancy. They've said from the start, it'll be divided in two sections, a simple SHMUP and a simple ground grid-based combat. There's no need for them to go over the top on making anything crazy, they don't need to reinvent the wheel to make a good game. Also, I don't know if you're misquoting the price or changing it for your exchange rate but it's $30 USD, not $50
its 40$ i remembered upper price that i thought was lower. If they are not making AAA game why they are pricing it at almost AAA level? Especially since they already raised money on development? Since when saying "our gameplay will be mediocre, but you will buy it not for a gameplay" is ok? If they think that gameplay is not good, why the fuck did they make a game and not a visual novel/ interactive film? Because "game" is easer to sell. No one will pay 40$ for visual novel, for a "game" on the other hand, maybe.

Why are they asking money for a product they made? Gee, maybe because they'd like to actually make money off their product so they can invest it into their business and keep it going? The money raised during their kickstarter has been used for development and for paying their employees, as well as buying assets, paying for copyright stuff, etc. $30 is NOT AAA price, $60 is, $30-$40 is indie game price generally. And also, you're getting roughly 30+ hours of game, when the full game's released
TBH if the games almost completely voiced, a great story, fun gameplay, amazing animations i have no isse with the price of 30 to 40$ and this is comming from someone not in the US who has to pay more. I was expecting the price to be more considering how many VA's that they had to hire for this game. and lets be honest like emperor said 30 to 40 USD has become the gamming standard for non major studio games

For the games on f95, in the form of support, many people including me paid a lot more.
It was very upsetting when a developer who received $ 60 from me offered to buy the full version of the game in Steam for $ 10.
