I haven't played this game since the first release. Like I said it wasn't for me. All I wanted was some cool space adventures with a sexy and naughty crew. Instead we got some bad tech demo and a Netorase Fuckfest.

Gathering a team to overthrow a controlling religious empire isn’t an adventure? While also dealing with a persistent bounty hunter, another more radical rebellious faction, and a kloi army looking for retribution?

Kinda feels like you’re simplifying things.

Wasn't this known since before they released the first version of the game?

I remember when people pressed the devs over the fact that the game was going to have bestiality stuff in it, and wanted to know how that was going to jive with the supposed romance/harem aspects, the best the devs could come up was a promise that there would be an option to skip the bestiality/NTR content. Mind you, they literally meant that you'd just skip these scenes, but they would still be happening and the plot would acknowledge this fact - so what they were proposing is that you were just going to miss out on the majority of the content.

Realistically, they should have decided before even announcing the project which direction they were going to go with - vanilla harem romance or hardcore bestiality breeding - either choice would have been "fine" and founds its audience, but by deciding to deceitfully market to both they ended up in this weird middle-ground that pleases nobody.

Not that the rest of the game is any better. The whole thing is just a monument to wasted potential and lack of talent.

hah, nailed it - ya, I remember back when I used to peruse the Steam forums for this game and about 3 months before launch, people (myself included) were asking over and over and over how the content would be handled specifically - whether the content would be happening in the background, via dialogue, etc. even if we didn't want it in there - we just wanted to know if we would be hearing about it in the game and if so we would know we should not support it financially and the devs WOULD NOT ANSWER US - no matter how many times we asked. It was at that point that I got a bad feeling, and decided that instead of buying it, I would check out F95 and see if it was over here. Sure glad I did that as it is obvious now why they didn't want to answer us when we asked.

Not discounting your views, but did you not notice they tend to not answer anything related to the story? The staff and likely the VA’s too, all sign NDA’s.

gents i downloaded part 1 and 2 put them both in a folder and activated the exe.

however it wants to start the steam version which i dont have.
did i do something wrong or am i missing something?

edit: nvm i simply needed to use on of the others files.

Subverse is not a AAA game, it runs on almost everything, if you can play Overwatch or Valorant on your PC, Subverse may run smothly.

About the game, I think it is clear that the MC is a loser that gets to fuck those girls whenever he wants, but their are not his GFs, just people who agree to fuck a lot.

I never had high or any expectacion of this game, and I think that is why I like it.
