I think it's because Polyamory is NTR to people who are monogamous simply because they wouldn't be okay with it, which would be a majority of people I assume.

Bought it on steam played 53 minutes and returned it. Was incredibly hype for Subverse and bought it asap.
Somehow I had gaslit myself from the original announcement, to think that you could choose your gender. Idk why.
The production quality is amazing and the non-ship game play was super enjoyable(to me).
Just not into straight porn games personally.
Only problem I had was no controller support.

In the Bridge you can see your missions and on the map before you can fly in that solar system you can see which system has quest planets. when you are in the right system the planet who has a quest mission are marked with ! by the planet name.
I WANT TO BUY IT LEGIT BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE OF STUPID GERMAN LAW / STEAM CAN'T GET ITS ASS OF TO DO SOMETHING !

That still wouldn't make it NTR. NTR describes a specific fetish and type of content and most of the annoyance with this is people not using the term correctly.
They brought this shit on themselves by calling the girls waifus over and over again. That being said, I don't think they would have gotten nearly as much money if a bunch of people weren't tricked into thinking the game was going to be a harem mass effect type game. I never trusted them entirely because of their past animations. I am curious if they tricked people on purpose or not.

Hm. 90% of the studiofow works were dps, gangbangs, fountains of cum and other good stuff in high quality which I presume brought the bulk of the kickstarter funding.
Nothing better to get that studiofow feel than a shitty slider where you can speed up and down a boring vanilla missionary and press a button to get the floppiest shittiest creampie in the universe. But hey, at least you can get a 2sec loop of some green dicks zoomed in next to a slut, ya?

To defend those people, I have a feeling a lot people had actually never heard of them and the other half were people thinking. Oh wow they're going to use their animation skills for something I actually like! Sometimes devs do make things unrelated to their usual content. I assumed the worst, but I can see why other people had delusional hope.
