Well good news for you download sufferers; they’re dividing off the 4k cinematics as an optional download. So the base game size should be much smaller.

I've used universal unreal unlocker so yes I know why camera angles are fixed. But it still doesn't make any sense to me. 3d games should not have fixed camera angles unless you are controlling something(for example, a character). You don't control anything or anyone during sex scenes in this game. It comes off as devs being so lazy they didn't bother creating a good scene and instead they've made a half-assed one and locked camera so people can't see how shit scene actually looks.
Yeah it doesn't make sense, but doing it in way it would work outside the angles they decided would need actually capable team that can do proper animations... i know fow were legends back when sfm animations ruled rule34, but lets be real this million dollars project took how long? Ive seen folks without big team with less budget do better than them, I don't think they'll be on top with animations after subverse either, Maiden Masher, Rescraft... there's lot of better ones these days too

And you'll be seeing the 'proper animations' when the devotion scenes are added. Ya'll really gotta figure out that animations within games have to be framed very differently compared to just animation. Even with a large budget, you have to spread that out efficiently. If everything got a multiple minute cinematic, we'd still be waiting for this to be completed. And they're not running on a Patreon either (which famously has slowed the development of many games on this site), so they can't afford to be in development mode forever.

It is true. BUT:
-They are experienced animators with YEARS of creating juicy vids.
-They set their goals to fully pay every video creation expences.
- They received 16 times more money than they asked for. SIXTEEN times more, Karl! So, how about not shoving money in their asses and instead hire some qualified developers? Especially they themselves confirmed that the development turned out to be much more difficult than they expected - because they are video creators, not game developers.
-And I dind't count the money the recieved from Steam purchases.

I only hope, after 1.0 release I don't find too much stoopid shit there. Some people mentioned too much grinding earlier.

They did hire developers. They made the game bits, and they did the animation bits. But you still have to put those animations in the frame of a game. That's why they held the devotion stuff til last, because those are outside the frame of the game, and are just pure cinematic lovemaking.

Also suggest you watch the 'what's coming in 1.0' video, they address the grind.
