It doesn't matter where you look but the universal complaint are the context less sex scenes that make 90% of all scenes and even Mr. Weeaboo here who holds the flag up for the game can't deny that. But he seems fine with it and can't see the problem.
That's fine I guess. I am glad that at least he has his fun with the game.
You’re very much misinterpreting my words and that’s a thing that happens far too much.

I knew from the get go people were gonna haaaate the initial launch. Then when the midway development change and only the new ladies got scenes I knew that would suck for the fans of certain ladies.

But I have to look at it realistically and try to see it from their side of things. They have a limited budget. They have no Patreon. Whether you want to say they should’ve just taken in more money is besides the point, they chose not to because it would bloat their goals and extend the wait even longer. The script was done before EA even began.

The story alone is already long, it being fully voice acted will make it feel even more so, since it isn’t just a bunch of soundless text. Full cinematic scenes also add to that. Yet the demand for 290+ scenes to be also crammed into it and given context is somehow the solution for many people.

Nevermind that team members leaving the project around midway drastically hurt development, leaving remaining ones to take on multiple roles (see the credits for examples), reducing the amount we could have seen, what you and so many others are asking for was not feasible. If they had all the time and money in the world, sure. I find it also ironic that the same crowd that thought they would sit on this project and milk it to high heaven are also the same type to ask for things that would have extended its development.

I would be happy if they had that. To not have to constantly defend this from a business standpoint, because FOW is an actual business, not just a bunch of singular animators working a side gig while having a 9-5, this is their 9-5. This had to be done, the priority had to be to finish the story and mark this as complete.

I wish they all had the same amount of scenes, shit for the longest time I was believing we’d see 40 for each gal to fill out the spaces that was in the builds up to now. While I’m not as bummed out because my favorite ladies happened to have some of the highest, I know Taron fans are, I know huntress fans are. They had to play the hand they were dealt, but we still got to the finish line.

By no means am I saying this game is perfect, I would not give it a 5/5, 10/10, paid IGN review. But that does not mean that what we got isn’t still so much better than the mass of Renpy titles, the RPGM series of games with 2D art to have a bunch of text overlay with generic moans and sounds. The titles that have been in development since before their Patreon ended (2018 if you want to check) and are still marked incomplete on this website.

Lastly regarding the characters that didn’t get any action: Kasidora was never gonna be lewded. This was known from the get-go. Her casting call specified it was a SFW role. If you didn’t know, now you do.

As for the Empress I’m gonna copy over what I wrote in discord, as believe it or not there are also people there also disappointed that the character the developers have stated was not a waifu for years didnt end up being a waifu:

Celestina is still an innocent adult learning about this world. She only *just* cooperated with the captain and the crew. It wouldn’t be logical to immediately expect her to give up her virginity. Her and Captain hold hands (aka the real lewd thing if you remember the first trailer’s humorous line about handholding), so if anything they’re just starting a relationship. It’s like how in the first Austin Powers movie, despite all the flirting he does, he doesn’t have sex with Vanessa until they end up married. For now they’re looking to the future as are we all. Kasidora is still alive and likely won’t take kindly to her choice. We’ll just have to wait and see what comes next.

I don’t know the future, but I know there’s still more content to come, there’s translations to do that’ll help bring in more fans and revenue, and there’s a lot of more gaming ladies in the world to make parody films of now.
Time marches on. Your opinions are yours, and I understand them, I do. Especially as someone who saw all of this first and could see exactly who it would tick off (again see the credits for why)

I’m just gonna reply to those asking game-related questions, as I really don’t wish to repeat this again. We can’t change how we got here or what we got. What if doesn’t do anything, what comes next is more important.

If you are going to edit your save with the online editor don't use blueball xp. It just sits there and doesn't apply the xp. Probably have to change current xp.
any idea how to do that?
I've tried cheat engining my way in, but so far I only got Blue Balls XP (lol)

I can't really say a lot about the first three points (apart from maybe the whole star rating system itself being pretty flawed), but as for the fourth point, well, they don't have any scenes to miss so there isn't really anything to complain for them, so of course the people who hate Pandora are the majority of complaints.
When I was talking about complains about missable scenes I wasn't saying about Subverse because as you said, Subverse has none. I was talking about complains in other games vs complains about Pandora in Subverse.

To edit saves, go to User\AppData\Roaming\Goldberg SteamEmu Saves\1034140\remote
Then change the file inside to .sav format and go to
After editing and downloading new save, replace the old save and delete the .sav so the game can read it.
I just did this and it worked. Of course, backup always just in case.

From the post a few pages back. Problem is just editing current xp doesn't seem to work either. It gives you the xp. But not the rewards for leveling up. It leveled me to 34 but didn't give me Lily's outfit.

I'm sorry, but as much as the rest of your post is ok, this is just bullshit. You out of all people dare to say that. A lot of people saw where this is going and a lot of people wanted to correct it. FOW decided to silence any disagreement and you were always the first to support that. Now you dare to say we can't change NOW how we got here? You are the last person who should be saying that, you contributed heavily to this disaster.

So they just spend a lot of money on things that are much less important for a porn game instead of making well written, voiced and integrated porn scenes - actually the only ONE THING that could have make this game better then your average renpy incest grindfest.

Because I doubt people were like "yay, at last we have 20+hours of mediocre plot and gameplay"
We kinda have whole non-porn gaming industry for that.

Holy shit, this shit still exists? I thought this pathetic "comedy" was abandoned a long time ago. And here some clowns explain that if a game has animations, then it is a priori better than RPG games with 2D graphics, lmao. Go look at Black Souls 2. The game was made by one person and it took 3 years, there are a lot of plot forks, endings, hentai in the end. And here a bunch of soy "animators" decided that they are fucking awesome game developers, but it turned out that they are just bullshits.

When I was talking about complains about missable scenes I wasn't saying about Subverse because as you said, Subverse has none. I was talking about complains in other games vs complains about Pandora in Subverse.
That's a bit of an odd comparison because Subverse probably has way more eyes on it in general (because they actively market the game on YouTube or dumbasses like Tim Poole running involuntary advertising by trying to sue the devs) vs. the majority of other games. There isn't really a proper equivalent to Subverse in that regard. Maybe because other developers lack the sheer audacity of Studio FOW to market an obvious porn game on websites such as YouTube. I do get your point, though.

But I have to look at it realistically and try to see it from their side of things. They have a limited budget. They have no Patreon. You raise an interesting point as far as budget goes. The game made, what, just shy of 2 million on Kickstarter and then I don't know how much EA money to fund the development. Which sounds like a lot, but honestly isn't for a company. 2 million is chump change in the business world, and who the fuck knows what fees they had to pay over in Britain. Having a set budget you have to make do with is in and of itself harder than having constant patreon money influx (see all the projects who are stuck in development hell due to exactly that practice), and more budget =/= a better product. As can be seen by all the 250+ million dollar budget failures being released these days.

I think you are speaking generally here because I never talked about some of these things you brought up.

I also agree that I don't think with a business in mind and I never followed the development that deeply. I just knew there is Subverse coming and saw it pop up here and there. Never have I supported the game by monetization but I was willing to buy a copy if I found a site that allowed it if the game was fun....however as a person who went into the game basically blind this game is a huge dissapointment because my expectations were different what the game ultimately would be.

Could I have avoided that by gathering more information? Possibly. But then again I would have never even downloaded the game.

Yet the demand for 290+ scenes to be also crammed into it and given context is somehow the solution for many people.
It would have been THE solution yes.
What's the difference making the scene for pandora or integrate it organically into the story? Even you can't answer me that.

You speak of limited budget but with this limited budget they were able to cram all the scenes into pandora. I would have preferred they cut corners (yeah I know) but then be able to create a more cohesive porn project.

Many, many people would have generated more goodwill who got a more immersive experience and are willing to support the project even further with possible DLCs.

But we got what we got. Many people are pissed. The devs knew that. You knew that and thats the legacy of Subverse. I doubt that the devs wanted it for their passion project.

Because I doubt people were like "yay, at last we have 20+hours of mediocre plot and gameplay"
We kinda have whole non-porn gaming industry for that.
Haha yeah.
Thats also a point of view they forgot to look at.

Unironically? It's more work. Because the people writing it would have to adjust things accordingly, which in turn would then have to be further integrated into the game via dialogue, which would be voiced, which would mean you'd have to pay the VA's more etc. And I honestly have no idea how their monetary situation actually looked by the end of this. For all we know they're just barely scraping by and couldn't actually afford any of these ideas you're bringing up.

Fair enough.

Maybe not the 290+ scenes Mr. Weeaboo mentioned but at least a bigger bulk of them. Are there even that many pandora scenes? This number seemes a bit high ngl.

Maybe loose the voiced lines for unimportant dialogue.
Anyway but the thing is through. I try to simmer out a bit and I am sure I forget the game in the next days to come again.

A shame really.

At least they could have added more fetishes. Why cant i make demi into absolute fuckmachine with nipple-pussies, navel-pussy, face-pussy, ass-pussy, cervix-pussy and all other weird stuff you can find in dark corner of pixiv.
Or nothing so extreme. But still some form of bodymods are totally popular theme.
