I played an older version 2 years ago and there was not enough nor a way to farm to lvl up every girl to max, is there a way to repeat farm xp now?
Easily. The first three galaxies you level in give very little exp but Yeti starts giving a decent amount. By the time you hit Griffin or Dragon North you can easily get 2-3 levels per planet. I've gotten everyone to 40 and I've still got basically two whole galaxies left to clear.

Ok, beat it. All Devotion done, all girls at 40, MSQ done.

Overall thoughts? 4/5.

The main story was good. The beginning was a little rough, having Tibold just swear at you constantly was very bad porn game level stuff but the plot picks up decently well with a good finale. Erark is good, the crew are good, the villains are good. This is a decently well written game, and it's got some good twists and turns. Way better then I was expecting it to be. The finale worked. The background "lore" stuff was actually pretty deep, and they have a proper IP here if they build off it.

The gameplay was mixed. The ground combat was never difficult and felt like a waste from beginning to end. All ground combat boss battles sucked ( outside of maybe the Sova arena/Blythe intro ). I never needed to do anything but the first three Mantics, and it was just boring. Space Combat was fine though. The wave based aspect was a little overdone, but all the boss fights felt great. I'm a huge SHMUP fan and they obviously had a SHMUP developer on hand for some of these fights. Some of the later ones are a bit overtuned, but it felt fun.

The porn was good. Unlike many here I'm coming in right at the end, so I haven't had years to keep coming back every update to see the new scenes. And overall I'd rate it highly. Yes I recognize SFM is way better now, or xyz artist can make something better. There's plenty I can point out about the cum being goofy, or how the assholes work, or the plasticy vulvas, or the occasional animation weirdness.

But it's also a LOT of porn, and a lot of good porn. There's some excellent scenes here, and some excellent storyboards you can whip together. Quantity is a quality all it's own, and there's some damn good stuff in here. It's helped by the fact this is a porn game where the writing overall is pretty strong. By the end of the game I actually was pretty invested in several of these characters.

I'll be honest, I'm sick of SFM stuff where it's the same Overwatch characters again and again. Or the same Titanfall characters. This has a lot of quality animations with a bunch of new characters, and new characters I want to see more stuff from.

There's a good amount here. Taken as a complete package it's solid, and it's not going to blow away the space but I got $30 out of it. Just off the gameplay/story alone I'd say, and with how much I'll get out of Pandora with the new outfit/stuff I'll probably get even more out of that. Ideally we'll get some Celestina stuff, or new work in the space, but as is I'm happy I played it.

I think it's biggest sin frankly is EA. It made them quite a lot of money they invested into the game, so it's good for what I got out of it. But I get the feeling a lot of people have been very casually stringing themselves along update to update every 6 months. Quickly doing the new batch of story, seeing the new scene unlocks, then waiting for the holy grail 1.0 that'd be the "best".

And that's just not how the game is best designed/played. Taken here as the full package I've had a great time, because I've gotten 20-30 hours out of the story, enjoyed the full story, and now have 240ish? Pandora scenes and 10ish? Devotion videos. I've got tons of material to still play with postgame, not even counting stuff like FOWchan or potential Celestina stuff.

But if you've been stringing yourself along, not only do you have to replay the whole game. But the 1.0 update was just another girl drop basically worth of content. 20 or so Pandora scenes and the Devotion videos. And it's just not enough on it's own, especially if you are just grabbing a save and whipping out the Devotion quests real fast ( and especially if you've been wanting Celestina as part of 1.0 ).

This is a game that needs to be played through entirely to really be enjoyed, yet the EA model encouraged bits and bobs that never felt like enough.

This is probably the porn game that's gotten closest to the Rance games for me in terms of intermeshing "actual game" with "fucking loads of good porn.". So I guess that's the best thing I can say for it.

How does this game's pre-rendered cut scenes look like they belong on the Xbox 360? Just wash everything out with bloom and leave massive amounts of artifacting from bad compression and still have a huge file size?

Also if have to suffer through any more white woman vocal fry voice acting I'm going to lose my mind.

Could someone maybe upload the 4K Cinematic DLC? Since I am from Germany I can't access the Store and are unable to get it... for days now I am looking for a ways to somehow find a work around but nothing works. And I don't want to play with the 1080p Movies since they just look so blurry...

Get all the ladies on board first, then progress the story.

Any idea how to get the full save to work with the fitgirl release? I've tried all the methods described in the thread, but none of them worked.

The perfect "End of Act 4" save file for V1.0
The perfect "before devotion quest chain" save for V1.0

As we all know, since the release of version 1.0, old saves from previous versions are no longer compatible with the current game.

If you've played this game before, you might find that Acts 1 to 4 can be quite tedious, and there's a lot of grinding involved.

To enhance your experience, I created this save file at the very beginning of Act 5. This allows you to enjoy the best part of the game—the devotion quest line for each character—without having to replay all 4 Acts, especially if you've been playing since the early access version.

Download the save here

This file contains the following features:

0. At the very beginning of Act 5, nothing else is touched
1. All (boring AF) Side quests complete
2. All planet and space combat complete (the not completed ones are locked behind a "plot lock" from either in ACT 5 or from the devotion quest)
3. All Waifu Lv 40 where you could start doing the Devotion quest right away
4. Everything lockable at the beginning of the Act 5 is unlocked, including all Pandora scenes, upgrades and etc.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTION

if you have a legit copy of the game, put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(IDK, YOUR PROFILE NUMBER)\1034140\remote
If you have a pirate copy of the game, it COULD* be C:\Users\(IDK,your user name)\AppData\Roaming\GSE Saves\1034140\remote

1. You must run the game at least once, and pass the tutorial (optional, but this make sure you had at least one save)

2. If you have a pirate version of the game, skip to step 3. If you have a legit copy from steam, and don't have a folder in the path " C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\(IDK, YOUR PROFILE NUMBER)\1034140\remote ", you just have to find where you install your steam on your PC, It could be in any partition. You have to find a folder call "1034140" (the ID for the game) and inside you can find another folder called " remote ", then you can find your saved file. If you are not sure what to do, just search the folder called "1034140" in the drive/partition where you think you have your steam installed (not where you install the game, but where you install the steam).

3. My file is called "SubverseSaveGame002" and has no extension AS IT. Rename it to "SubverseSaveGame001", this file has no extension, just change the last digit to 1, and that it.

4.Put the file in the save folder.

Here is my review for the game.

No spoilers here; you can read safely.

TL;DR
  • Would I recommend this game if you speak fluent English? Yes, I would. Despite its shortcomings, it is still a high-budget game with relatively good lore, even though the storytelling can be somewhat naive. The vocabulary used is quite sophisticated, and the voice acting is excellent.

  • Would I recommend this game if you struggle with English? No, I would not. It would be similar to playing The Witcher 3 in English; a vocabulary that is highly sought after can also be very obscure for non-English speakers.

  • Is this game good? I'll give it 5/5 as a hentai game on this one, even though it may not necessarily be good fapping material, as I don't even feel horny 99% of the time playing this game even during H scenes. The main reason for 5/5 is not because it is amazing but because there isn't any comp (comparable game) out there. This is "one of a kind".

The Positives:

  1. The devotion scene after completing the devotion quest (for each character) is extremely good (No kidding, extremely good, but you would not be able to unlock the devotion quest until ACT 5, so no matter how much you dislike the plot between ACT 1 to 4, please just believe me, the devotion quest at Act 5 is all worth it.)【I have a save file called "perfect End of Act 4 save for 1.0", where you could start from ACT 5 and experience the devotion quest yourself without sitting through the boring Act 1 to 4, you can find it here https://f95zone.to/goto/post?id=15474661
  2. There are an abundance of scenes (seriously, a lot!)
  3. The Art and the 3d model are really good for this woke day and age, it is a porn game after all
  4. The game is fully voiced, and the voice acting is exceptional, maybe better than 90% of the typical anime dubs.
  5. The animations are really good (high budget) for the genre.

The Bad:

  1. As many have pointed out, this game feels "like a river wide, but only an inch deep." While it features an expansive lore, everything just feels too shallow. You can easily sense that each act was written at a different time (the game was in EA for many years), resulting in a lack of coherence between Acts and occasional contradictions with the in-game codex. Additionally, all the side quests are just sarcasm/complaints of the real-life from the dev team, completely disconnected from the main story, most of the side quests do not stay true to the game’s lore.
  2. The combat is highly repetitive (especially the space fights) and it involves a considerable amount of grinding (a lot of grinding!). This issue is exacerbated by the fact that none of the previous saves from the Early Access version are compatible with the 1.0 release, forcing players to start over and endure the grinding all over again.【Hence I made a save file that has all side quests and space battles completed and ready for you to start ACT 5 with no worries, you can find it here https://f95zone.to/goto/post?id=15474661
  3. Contains A LOT of sex scenes, but the camera angle is fixed. Even though the 3d animation is rendered on the go on your PC, as you should be able to switch angles, but you CAN'T for fk sake.
  4. (There's supposed to be a free camera mod on Steam where you can unlock the camera angle but I am not sure if it still works on the 1.0 build)
  5. sex scenes are detached from the storyline and feel meaningless.
  6. Except for the devotion quest, which is still detached from the storyline, but at least the movie itself is extremely good.

Conclusion
  • You can sense that this game aspires to be like Mass Effect with sex. It starts off very strong, but then everything falls apart as the developers realize their ambitions are too high and scale back dramatically. As a result, the storyline becomes extremely shallow, particularly toward the end.

  • Nevertheless, it still stands out as "one of a kind" and has a somewhat Venusblood-esque quality in certain aspects. So, it is worth playing as a Hentai game. But disregard the exclusivity, think of it as a Visual novel, it is only a 2/5 at best. 2/5 for combat mechanic. But putting all together, there is just not a comp so I give it 5/5.

  • As for "Is this game worth the money I paid for?" I think it is worth $29 (the price before the 1.0 release, as they jack up the price to 39 on the 1.0 release.) "Is this game worth the budget they have?" That has to be a hard NO, but you are here to download an illegal copy of it, so the PRICE does not matter. I, as a person who bought it on EA, am only happy because it at least got finished.

Guys I am almost done and I will start recording in no time, I have a question though, do you know how to get the "cum" part of pandora without the UI showing up? It will save me a lot of time!

Or do I have to download some kind of software to do so?

Not a feature yet sadly. Hopefully something they can add in time now that the main story is finished.

What confuses me with 1.0 is that there's a few outfits for the waifus, which realistically is only really just 2 new outfit as the others are just redo's of nude body (sweaty and body/sharpie marks).

But it shows in past dev logs that they have so many more. At least 4 more per waifu if we compare current 1.0 Lily to the photo of Lily in devlog #39. 1732747733821.png
So why are we seeing so little in the finished product than what we were shown?

I understand that technically the game isn't done being worked on because we got 1 more waifu (Fow-chan) still being made, but that's post game content and to see so little for a launch release product when we've been teased for a while seems bizarre.

Especially if you factor the cutscene about an outfit store Eleisha gives when you recruit her but has nothing to show after she talks about it. It feels like they planned on having a outfit store then kinda ditched the idea and forgot to remove the cutscene tied to it.

I enjoyed the game and for the most part I think Studio Fow should be applauded for making an adult game with a high level of quality directed towards a western audience, even though it falls flat in some areas I can at least see where they were trying to go, but this particular decision of the outfits seems a bit weird to leave out.

I can only hope they add it when Fow-chan gets released into the game and hopefully some scenes with Celestina along side it...
