Yup, finished every side quest (and some extra ground/space battles to level up and get PPs) and reached the end of the main quest if people on steam are to be believed.BTW did you do quest on every planet where you can ?
Looks like making an un-finished mediocre game can make you rich, hype sells like candy these daysOMG in Kickststarter they got
£1,668,626
= 1,973,066.81 dollar wow
i has question did they got that must money everymonth ? or just got by finish one game?
I dunno, I think Subverse looks close to being a AAA game. I think this project is ambitious, thus i am willing to give StudioPOW the benefit.Depends, they have been working on this and hyping it up since 2018 I think it was. and for 3 years and this being the first build. :|
I bought the game as soon as it released last night and finished today in the afternoon. Total hours spent: 6.5 hours.Yup, finished every side quest (and some extra ground/space battles to level up and get PPs) and reached the end of the main quest if people on steam are to be believed.
I think is a one time purchase I dont think many people will pay 3 times for the game(says someone who have bought lots of games twice and thrice xD)I actually bought the game, but after 4 hours the quests ran out and there dont seem to be any of the content or characters i was waiting for. Question is, this one time purchase gets me the rest of the acts later or they will have to be purchased as DLC? I know i read somewhere a while ago that they planned to release the game in 3 parts and for each part you will have to pay again, but 25$ was super steep for what ive got, so i just want to confirm if that is true.
If it is, ill move every stone to get a refund from steam :/
The game will be released in episodes at no additional costs. According to their kickstarter page, it is just a regular early access.I actually bought the game, but after 4 hours the quests ran out and there dont seem to be any of the content or characters i was waiting for. You Purchased the game: at this point it is in "early access" You will get the rest of the game if/when it is released without having to pay extra for it..... at least that's generally how early access works.I actually bought the game, but after 4 hours the quests ran out and there dont seem to be any of the content or characters i was waiting for. I might jinxed myself here but I'll skip town if they decided that it is wise to put three different parts each cost about 25 bucks. 10 bucks early access price is between fair and a bit steep already. It's that don't understand another developers - adult game always will be more paymentLooks like making an un-finished mediocre game can make you rich, hype sells like candy these days
It is. I started League of Maidens a month ago, which is also early access, and already spent 3 AAA games price in it, but have no regrets as it is absolutely a blast, so i got a bit trusting and in a retard moment, instantly purchased subverse, despite knowing that their past content wasnt always what they promised.I might jinxed myself here but I'll skip town if they decided that it is wise to put three different parts each cost about 25 bucks. 10 bucks early access price is between fair and a bit steep already. Probably giving us plebs what the backers had years ago, I suppose. Giving it a little taste of what will Subverse become in the future.First impressions, judging by the 2-3 hours of gameplay:
1) There is no forced-NTR scenes in this game. You get to choose which scenes you want to unlock/play, so if you are not into some kinks - you can completely avoid unlocking or seeing them. That being said, the story still implies that you are more of a fuck-buddies with some of the companions and they are getting some D on the side.
2) Regarding sex aspect, people should change their priorities and whine about the quality of actual scenes as well as their ratio (there is a Doc character, for instance, she gets 2 vanilla 1 CG scenes and 5-6 tagged "monster" fuck scenes, which seems pretty unbalanced, for me at least). People already said everything there is about the animations and engine limitations, so I don't think it needs any more explanation.
3) Gameplay is actually decent. Unironically, I would compare it to Cyberpunk as it is another jack of some trades, master of none - which doesn't add anything new, but has certain mix of good established mechanics. I haven't seen too much, but I assume that it gets deeper (unless in the next couple hours or so, I will get cucked by early access).
4) Story is a blatant satire, with dozens of dick-jokes here and there. People, who would complain about something like this, have to be delusional, because the actual game doesn't ever take itself seriously. Now is that a good satire? I would say 50/50, sometimes it can definitely hit the nail with references, but other times it's just skippable.
5) Early content - correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember seeing developer specifying on their Kickstarter (approximately a year ago), that they received more than enough funding and can't even imagine, what else could they implement into the game. There is nothing of AAA level here. And developers did always specify that, but then I can't understand what the early access for.
