Sooo I have played through the main story but haven't finished every side quest. My question: how do Pandora events become available? Do you have to finish everything? Right now I have:
- 20 Demi
- 14 Ela
- 23 Killi
- 24 Lily scenes.
I also have all six mantics.

Edit: corrected the numbers and false fact about Trisha.

Can someone like ... help me estimate how many percentage the story has been completed at the moments ?

We have 4/10 girls now so i assumed the story is 40% complete right now , right ?
Right now they have planned six more waifus:

Estimating exact percentage from that might be difficult though.

You do quests/missions and earn points. You spend the points to unlock scenes in Pandora. In addition you need to create new Mantics to to unlock some as well. As they release new updates to the game more content get added to Pandora. The scenes you see in there now, is all there is for now.

Yeah, that pretty much sums up what this game is, a game with porn. What a disappointment because it's backed by such a well-known porn animation studio (Studio FOW). The scenes in this game are kinda meh and the game itself isn't original in any way. The potential for a great porn game was right around the corner...
It's their first game. It's a learning experience for them as well. Difference between make a short movie and make an actual game. It's not backed by FOW, its created by them. Very few games these days bring out something original that isn't done before, so what did you expect that was so far out of the box? And what you find in the game just reflect their kickstarter page, and how it's presented on steam.

People still wait for Half Life 3, GTA6, the next Elder Scrolls game.... etc..... gaming and waiting goes hand in hand..

Yeah, I get the point/unlocking system. I was just wondering when new scenes are added to Pandora (new locked ones that is) or if I have all available scenes (81 right now).

Well I was happy when I finally could download 0.3.0 just to get hopes crushed cuz it forces steam to start. It's not like I don't have Steam but my country is a dick so it's not possible for me to play.
Solution "streemster"? Oh please... since almost a year it says "coming soon". Devs don't care about it. Only thing that good for me a bit is that I didn't spend a cent on it at least and it will stay that way...

Instead of complaining you could've read my answer: you need the crack file to run it without opening Steam. Works just fine!

I feel like there are some misunderstandings in this thread about what "a porn game" or "a game with porn" actually means. At first glance, I didn't even make any distinction between these phrases as they literally meant the same thing to me. At some point during the development, however, some people started emphasizing that Subverse was always MEANT to be a video game first, and an adult experience second, i.e. a "game with porn".

On the other hand, they think "a porn game" is your run-of-the-mill RPG Maker/2D sidescroller hentai game with static CGs and basic gameplay/visuals. That is, an adult experience first, game second...Well, what did you expect with the shoestring budgets these indie creators have? Of course they can't make a REAL game (TM) by themselves with just their monthly Patreon earnings of a few thousand USD at most.

I am certain the vast majority of backers expected Subverse to be an adult experience first, but with the added bonus of it feeling like an AA game with enjoyable gameplay and great visuals. I am tempted to make another poll about this silly discussion on semantics, but there has already been plenty of screenshot proof in previous pages that even the mods and devs have literally called it a "porn game" on Discord.
I'm still wondering how some people actually differentiate a "game with porn" and "a porn game" (hence my quoted post above). If anyone can actually bother to explain what they mean by that exactly, that would be great.

As a bonus, I want to see how people would rate Subverse based on JUST its gameplay experience, excluding all the adult scenes, since the gameplay is supposed to be the star of the show apparently. My personal bet is that Subverse would get about 5.5/10 on Metacritic if it was released as simply a regular game (and get about 100 times less sales).

Funnily enough, I never had anything against the gameplay being just average, as this is their first game after all. The part that FOW was super experienced in was supposed to compensate for that though.

gameplay is simple, if it was cheaper and was not crowdfunded then it would probably be a better than average game, without the porn , the art style is very appealing and is unique enough IMO. but with the porn it becomes a good with porn

If you look at all the "games" found on this site, and I say games collective even majority can't really be rated as games. Most require very little interaction from your side. And many of those that try present themselves as VN's not all that great at most times either. Why not draw some ideas from games such as Ace Attorney, Zero Escape etc and SEX it up..

Maybe people got to used to gobble up mediocre stuff just because it got lewd content. The more effort it require of you to progress, game mechanics you have to deal with. Resource management (whatever obstacles), and where the erotic content is a result/reward of the progression you make, I consider that become a game with porn/erotic content. Not just a porn game where you hit next to serve up another pussy after the other with as little effort as possible. Games that make you do the dishes or massages someone's feet 100 times to progress. I don't rate as games foremost either, just a abysmal pointless grind.

When it come to the gameplay of Subverse. It's not something exceptional or special. It got a watered down tactical ground combat, that I seen in many games before it, and I'm quite sure we will see in many games after it. Just those other games didn't have any sexual content in it... People argue there is other games that make better shmup games. Yeah, but where is the sexual content in them? They are not trying to reinvent the wheel here, they still offer a fun experience. Of course if the only thing you are interested in is space pussy and boobies you will get a poor experience. Growing up playing games on the c64/Amiga such as Galaga, R-Type, Project X, Turrican and so forth. I thought the shmup brought a retro/nostalgic feel, but that is just my own experience.
