Especially when it was available for purchase in Early Access for years, which made them shitload of money. Now it's time to encourage more hesitant customers.
Differences between latest EA build and 1.0 wasn't big enough to consider it a milestone.
For me it's rather logical and reasonable decision to give discount when they did.

I'm waiting for the inevitable steam stats posting lol.

And you must be new to reading. Almost everyone here is aware how much money FOW made on KS - many of us were the backers. Almost everyone here also knows this money is probably gone at this point. What he is referring to saying "steam stats" is sale numbers (probably).

And it is a red flag because no successful game goes on sale for half the price after 2,5 months, and EA period doesn't matter - did BG3 go for such a sale? No. Which games did? Veilguard and Suicide Squad. What connects these games? Go figure. I also think going for sale that quickly puts in question any future DLCs. My guess? Update 1.1, FowChan, Studio69, some minor fix updates and done, moving along to another project.

As far as I heard, their modelers receive from 600 dollars in one day. Multiply this over the years and compare with the salaries of AAA workers and you will understand that even AAA’s salaries, to put it mildly, are three times lower than those of fow.

Amazing to have all my comments and threads deleted and or locked and an influx of positive reviews to cover their ass just for someone still ask for me help.

If you want to offer save files, do it elsewhere besides the devs official areas. They’ve asked people not to, so just do it somewhere else. I don’t think it’s too much to ask to respect their wishes.

It’s not shady behavior, it’s you doing something they requested you don’t do.

I would think that's the idea, given its going for a week up to valentine's day. Also things being on sale doesn't mean 'thing is in trouble'. If that were the case, every game offered for free from Epic, or the PSN Plus monthly game titles must be drastically in danger. Or shit allll the games offered through xbox's game pass.

March is fitting, considering that's the Kickstarter campaign's beginning and the month its early access period began. Also what's like 600k times $40...cuz I'd say they made their money back and then some. Even accounting for regional pricing, that combined with early access sales at $30...that's a hefty ROI.
