Honestly speaking... the renders and the girls look awesome. Still I don't know why but the game's story didn't appeal to me that much. And the stepmother being a golddigger (at least I think so) the milf and most probably the most hyped character got ruined a little bit. But good luck tho... I'll return to the game when it gets more update again as I think judging a game only by it's demo release is kinda fucked up. And also... do you have any plans of impregnation of the main lis(MC impregnating them) in future updates? Or maybe pregnant harem as an eventual ending? CovertApe

I don't expect the story to appeal to absolutely everyone, but I am staying true to the story I am trying to tell. Large exposition and all. I urge you to give Miri a chance, there's more to her than meets the eye (it's the trope that she'd be the gold digger, but she's not one dimensional like that - she's a survivor of back to back misfortunes). There may be a bit of rejigging in terms of the step-relation before the next update as Patreon, even in my limited use of it, isn't a fan of step anythings. She isn't the only MILF on the horizon, as well, if redheads ain't your thing. As for impregnation, this is a romance themed AVN, so the goal is to create a final life - and a potentially an heir of your own, at the end - if that's what you choose for MC. I mean when you create a romance novel it obviously should be ended with them creating a family for themselves and a few kids be it with 1 or 10 girls so I am sold to you just for that remark you did at the last and I think if someone says redheads are not their thing just kill them(c'mon is there any person who doesn't like them? Leave the exceptions. I obviously like redheads).

So when the relationship with the stripper is described as not "monogamous", does that mean that it's a mutually open relationship, or that it was open solely on the MC's side? Because the former contradicts with love interests being exclusive.

I mean, the whole "stripper" part also contradicts that, but I digress.

It's described only as non monogamous in the 'meet the cast' as this is all these two young lovebirds have known up until now. MC has never felt comfortable sharing Kitty with the stripper stage (and her patrons), so doesn't put a label on their relationship himself to protect his own feelings. That's the extent of it. Kitty loves him, too, but feels pressure as he wants 'more' than his current situation and she feels she can't live up to it because of her job. Trust, she will become a key player and major LI, if the player wants that. She is written into the main storyline. Her past doesn't exactly fit in with the new shiny manor and his added status, and you can imagine the dramas that causes if MC commits.

To be frank, not really. There are relationships with the characters you have met - but the situation as it stands is that this family met as adults, with no prior connection and the common family denominator (dad) is now dead. So at best, they are ex-stepanythings. Which isn't really a thing. Right?

Because of Patreon's rules on incest including step siblings, we may even lean further away with a quick edit that removes the 'step relationship' on a technicality standpoint. Basically change that Miri was days away from marrying the Duke, so the relationship still stands, but the title doesn't. He only protects his new family in his will, which is why they remain in the manor. I hate bureaucracy - but gotta fund this badboy somehow so we can get the game out.

(If anyone has any extra feedback on the step-situation removal as a technicality as above, please let me know - I'd love to hear your thoughts. We weren't planning on creating an incest game, as previously stated, they are all consenting adults who have never met before.)

so only a partial harem tbh im probably out on the game if i need multiple playthroughs to see the content i want i dont start that game anymore i pretty much exclusively play harem where you can get all the LI in one playthrough. Also the tag system on this site sucks for instance you game sounds like it should 100% get the harem tag because it only requires three LI's for the tag but almost everyone who is looking for harem wants the option for all the LI's there are many more examples like this for the other tags as well.

I agree, the tag system is confusing. As everyone in the manor is able to be an LI at one stage or another in a single playthrough (we don't exclude pathways unless we explicitly state in the conversations had between characters to warn you about your actions), however, that doesn't seem good enough to earn the harem tag. As this is a romance story, the idea is to only end up with one (or potentially a small combination) at the end of LI's in tandem. A couple of our characters only work as exclusive branches as it nears the end of the story where it really needs to pathway, and they won't budge to keep their character authentic. (Trust, I've tried to make them. They won't.) really appreciate the feedback.

A little more feedback and question

● I seen other comment mention it, but I do kind of agree about Kitty being forced. Usually forced Gf's aren't my thing, and it feels like mc's feelings are alresdy firmly planted with her, so could feel a bit weird building other relationships. So not a fan of Kitty and that opening with her, wished maybe we could have alternate alone opening, but if she is necessary, I understand.( probably doesn't help that her model/look doesn't do it for me either)

● Exploring the house, I don't want full sandbox, and would like it keep mostly visual novel, with choices, but am fine with small free roams similar to other games (being a dik, artemis, etc)if you do them, just not full sandbox.

● someone mentioned name change, and you asked did you mean full name, it would be cool to do first and last name change, to make it feel more personal, but if you want to keep stark, I am fine with that and changing first name is more than enough.

● for the question: you said there won't be group or harem ending, which is fine, but will there be endings like throuples, maybe little more. Pretty much endings with couple or few girls(2-4), at the same time and you are all in a relationship together?
Edit: saw your post about potential combos, which is good, I have my hopes for who I would really like.

But...

The whole business of voting to decide who inherits the title is completely bogus -
Under English law illegitimate children CANNOT inherit titles (the uncle automatically becomes Duke). If the Dukedom were Scottish then an illegitimate son could become Duke.
Also, Miriam's children from other marriages would not have titles - they are commoners - only Catherine has a title (through marriage), they also could not inherit any titles from a step-parent.
When the will goes to probate (to establish it's legality) it would not be ratified because of the illegal nature of the title "inheritance".
The property/money can be divided up any way the "old" duke wanted, but not the title.

Years ago I used to work for an Earl, and trust me in matters of precedence (i.e who inherits what) they know EXACTLY who stands where in line for any title.

Miriam is no longer a Duchess, as a widow her title would now be "Dowager Duchess".

Well, I think it's already clear that the main star in this game will be Caterina, thanks to her appearance. And although I will of course be interested in seeing events with her, but alas, vanilla games in my opinion are too boring and there are too many of them to somehow stand out, it is quite rare to see something new or interesting in them. And although I do not particularly count on anything, but the renders here are quite good, good luck to the author in the development.
