I get it, still not biggest fan of their past. Cause 6 years, they clearly like it each other, so forth, forced feelings on us a player it feels, so on, so would of liked a non relationship, wake up alone in bed option at beginning wirh her there not there at all, but I understand though, I just really don't like Kitty personally.

Also did you see my long feedback on last page, just wanted to make sure you got the feedback, you may not change anything, but just wanted to give feedback and thoughts.

A little more feedback and question

● I seen other comment mention it, but I do kind of agree about Kitty being forced. Usually forced Gf's aren't my thing, and it feels like mc's feelings are alresdy firmly planted with her, so could feel a bit weird building other relationships. So not a fan of Kitty and that opening with her, wished maybe we could have alternate alone opening where we have no relationship with her, but if she is necessary, I understand though i may not like..( probably doesn't help that her model/look doesn't do it for me either)

● Exploring the house, I don't want full sandbox, and would like it keep mostly visual novel, with choices, but am fine with small free roams similar to other games (being a dik, artemis, etc)if you do them, just not full sandbox.

● someone mentioned name change, and you asked did you mean full name, it would be cool to do first and last name change, to make it feel more personal, but if you want to keep stark, I am fine with that and changing first name is more than enough.

● for the question: you said there won't be group or harem ending, which is fine, but will there be endings like throuples, maybe little more. Pretty much endings with couple or few girls(2-4), at the same time and you are all in a relationship together?
Edit: saw your post about potential combos, which is good, I have my hopes for who I would really like.

It won't be a massive sandbox, but more free roam sections to explore the manor and its grounds/engage in bonus content and story advancements before launching back into main sections of story with choices.

We're looking into the possibility of changing the last name, too. It's a TBC at the moment.

Intriguing! Very polished preview, and an interesting take on a somewhat familiar setup (not a criticism, doing something new with a well-established set of tropes is one of my favorite things in AVNs and indeed pretty much everywhere). I'll likely chuck some change at the Pateron next pay period solely on the strength of everything (1) looking good (2) being correctly spelled*.

-- Two things only that stood out to me; one is that I think "Suki" is a terrible name, but this is completely down to personal taste and not something I can construct an argument on, and the other is that I've spent enough time nerd-rabbit-holing through history and historical fiction that I know something about how titles are inherited and how a peer's children are addressed, and revising that could lead to some interesting story beats or could simply mark me out as an insufferable teeaboo.

Regardless, I'm fairly hooked, and I will admit this is in large part because the setting and vibe look likely to tick any number of my "subsidiary fetish"-y boxes.

renders look good, but it would help to use some sort of denoising to get rid of the noise. intel nvidia and even the inbuild daz denoiser are excelent tools. I have heardthatt he intel one is quite good but it is an external one so depending on how long it takes for each render you may need to weight your options.

try not to throw the three letter crap, around too much, especially since your plan is for something completely different, because believe it or not, you are losing people. see what it means first, deside if you want it in the game and then mention it.

will keep this on follow for now, but it already gives too many red flags ( to me at least), so I will wait to see how it will evolve.

We've already begun our re-rendering of the scenes, specifically with noise and that we just wanted to redo anyway for Episode One. We invested in absolute beast machines to do our rendering and that makes this all a lot easier/faster.

Understood about the tags, and the passionate community associated with them. Will tread lightly and release a future tags list as soon as we are confident about what they mean to people, with the understanding that we could 'lose' some people since we can't have them all. We first and foremost look at our story and apply the right tags, rather than change the content to suit what the tags on F95 mean. I would be interested to DM to discuss what the tags mean to you, and what you would like to see from an information gathering standpoint, if you would be down for that

●My absolute fav is probably Lorde, just love her look, but Suki and Clauida are right there. Those are my main 3 right now.

I am with you on wanting to recreate inheritance as closely to realism as possible, however, to keep it fun and a bit easier to navigate without having to throw in incest - I've taken some fictional liberties and thrown out my own 'teeaboo' sensibilities. (It was hard and I was very annoyed with myself, but here we are.) However, there are some twists and turns that will make the inheritance a bit more straightforward in terms of viability down the line. Without having spoilers, some things are more black and white with MC's claim than they seem at the start... I am Lionel in this story (IS THIS EVEN LEGAL?!)

Would you be interested in the possibility to rename characters as you meet them? It's fairly easy to include, so would it be a selling point?

there is this lingering question after reading what the story entails....1st-why didnt dad tell him beforehand "i´m your dad"
2nd-if he didnt tell him anything ...why now??? 3rd-if there is a inheritance to be made(given)...why the hell not tell who gets what???sadistic streak from daddy????only the mc is the single unknown stranger in all of this,why even bother to get the money???greed??...SO-WHY??? makes me feel disillusioned about familybonds.....

Your questions are all valid, and why I wrote the story this way. All will be revealed in time. The familybonds in this story are complicated, to say the least.

So mom and sisters are not going to vote for their brother. Automatic win for the brother. So my only guess is the father knew the brother was a dick and there was a high chance they wouldn't vote for him if there is another option. Unlike the brother they can use their feminine wles on the MC and get more control of the money compared to the brother/son.

Not everyone's motives are on the table yet, and their allegiances can change based on your actions. But you can sure that plenty of people WANT to be the duchess themselves, but some also already have ties elsewhere.

I think really, the only reason that the girls may choose the Uncle or MC over the brother is that THEY personally can gain title through romantic ties with MC or Uncle, which they can't with Grayson. Each of them have their own motives, and what they seek to gain out of this opportunity. Their allegiances will change depending on what you choose to do.

Yep, this is true. I am very conscious of consent, and want our players to not feel forced into anything (or anyone). The flashbacks with Kitty are showing the past, but going forward, you decide what happens.

I think another piece of feedback that could help, is some possible dialogue changes throughout flashback and maybe in bed with Kitty. We say she was the most beautiful, or how she will never be mine, etc. with other lines throughout flashback and bed. I am not sure what to change some of that dialogue to but maybe something where he still cares for her and wants to help, but there relationship is more friends with benefits and not much actual feelings there right now(but could change in future), instead of the feeling that MC is having repressed feelings, which feels weird when pursing other girls in future. This could help keep the past, but not make Kitty feel so forced maybe.

Just a suggestion, if you don't that's fine too just trying to help the feeling of MC being too attached to Kitty, which is what it feels like, but understand if you leave it the same. This will be the last time I bring up this specific point, cause don't want to dwell on my personal Kitty issue too much and I understand you have a story in mind.

Well it was the shortest Demo I have played, the game seems to be a better take from "Milfylicious" Guy inherits the "World" so the story line not original but has great potential. the Animations are shadowed and choppy its like a poor slide show. Speed them up to be more smooth and less like a still images. you end not having me want more. The time with Kitty is more info than the time at the Estate. and where is the choice to Punch Grayson? Mc already is a enforcer of sorts. even if not in the final game it would provide for some fun also let us decide if we start with care or with strength and options to shake hands with uncle not force it, better to hide uncles thoughts a bit longer. it felt like you were building a kinetic Novel? because no choice because its a demo. Saving images for initial release more reason to question the game, don't have images listed that are not available it shows the demo was not a demo but a clip of the first Ep probably why it felt so short.

I like where you can go so with this so I will watch for now but your already talking like you don't have the funding to complete the game so you need support to do so. too many good games leave do too dev's life getting in the way or a poor choice of content. we may have just lost another "No More Money" just went on hold and Dev is saying he may not be back do to life issues! you should not have either problem it seems, but funding so now you need to go out on the limb and build a game complete it no mater the time or funds but that's up to you. lets see the first ep then we decide if your game truly rates.

But...

The whole business of voting to decide who inherits the title is completely bogus -
Under English law illegitimate children CANNOT inherit titles (the uncle automatically becomes Duke). If the Dukedom were Scottish then an illegitimate son could become Duke.
Also, Miriam's children from other marriages would not have titles - they are commoners - only Catherine has a title (through marriage), they also could not inherit any titles from a step-parent.
When the will goes to probate (to establish it's legality) it would not be ratified because of the illegal nature of the title "inheritance".
The property/money can be divided up any way the "old" duke wanted, but not the title.

Years ago I used to work for an Earl, and trust me in matters of precedence (i.e who inherits what) they know EXACTLY who stands where in line for any title.

Miriam is no longer a Duchess, as a widow her title would now be "Dowager Duchess".

We are currently workshopping our final style of animation, so your feedback is welcomed! Also noted about giving you more agency about what kind of character you want MC to be, i.e letting him choose to shake hands or not. I like this idea. Thank you! We are working with choices actually affecting which branches you enter into, so we didn't want too many 'baseless' choices, but if you think these extra choices add flair to your character choices and variety of interactions, I can definitely add more that don't necessarily have to add to those big pathway diversions.

When I uploaded the game to F95, I'm pretty sure it said to only offer screenshots of WHAT exactly is available in the demo I was posting. So only included those, but we have shots from the future and beyond in future seasons as we already own the 3d assets for them (country houses, horses, yachts, more characters, beaches, ballrooms etc.) See below for a couple of snapshots I rustled up - since you asked so nicely.

With regards to funding, we are making the game to tell a story, and it'd be nice to make a little money - but we already have the capacity financially and lifestyle-wise to finish the game, it's just how fast we can do it. Only one of our team (me) is working fulltime on this right now, as in, I quit my fulltime job to do this because I love it - but extra funding means that we could utilise more of the other team members' time which includes coding work, specifically. I am also the only correspondent, currently, so a lot of my time in this initial period has to be spent with the audience and working with feedback - like this!

While I'm here, I'll give you a small tip. You seem very malleable. Maybe too much so. I don't know if you picked up on it yet, but you will inevitably run into (you already have) some people that are self-inserting way too hard. They play these games for the single minded purpose of living out their incel fantasies. This means all the women need to pass their purity test and be worthy of their attention. You saw how some people fixated on the non-monogamous starting point of the relationship with the stripper. And well, her stripper status is another strike. She belongs to the streets, in their minds, regardless of what kind of nuance you want to put on that relationship set up. Then you see the gold digging mother accusations. I mean, she could very well be a gold digger, but the potential drama or narrative potential that may derive from that is meaningless to them. She is a bitch that is ruined, she ain't pure of heart. Of course, not everyone is this extreme, but if you have some ideas in mind for the characters that deviate from the generally good girl archetypes whose motives are simply to be the best girl for the MC, be prepared to filter out some of the "feedback." Like you may want to give the step-girls selfish motivations for choosing MC over the brother, but perhaps that ruins these LIs for some players.

Take feedback that aligns with your vision, but don't just try to please everyone.
