While I am aware that you cannot play this game without your antivirus deleting the Mai@KF.dll file, it is concerning that my antivirus recognizes it containing the Zusy trojan.

is the file safe to run coz chrome and windows defender wont even let me download this game from any website and will flag that issue of virus everytime. whats the solution, is it virus or not?

a quick explanation of the reason
but basically:
The Game has DRM > need a Crack to play the game without online autentication > Crack need Modify a protected file to be able to bypass the DRM > ANYTHING that try modify a protected file is detect as a Virus

if your folder looks like this, or something like this, it's fine.

Geniune question: Has anybody tried beating the final boss in training mode? Any pointers would help for second phase, I hate that move.

Played this a few years ago, no issues. Tried to run the game for once after years, and suddenly it won't start, even though it should. Turns out the antivirus or defender removed a game file.

Tried to download the game, and it got removed ("virus detected"). Disabled antivirus, then disabled fucking windows defender (what an annoying thing).
Downloaded, unpacked, added a whole folder to defender's exceptions and put Mai@KF.dll into zip file inside the game folder so if the fucking defender acts up again I won't have to redownload a whole game.
Seems to be ok so far.

If your antivirus is disabled AND fucking defender's real time protection is disabled too, then it might be a different issue. If not, try disabling both and see if it works.
Defender loves to work all the time and turn itself on when antivirus is disabled, and it re-enables itself after some time.

For anyone struggling with opening the file because of the windows automatic Anti-virus scan, theres a simple process that I figured out to be able to open the game while still having the Anti-Virus on. I'll provide screenshots of the process below the steps.

1. Download & Extract the file (DO NOT OPEN THE GAME YET)

2. Open Windows Security (Anti-Virus & Malware Scan)

3. Turn off "Real-time protection" (this is only temporary, you'll be turning it back on after this process)

4. Scroll down to "Exclusions"

5. Find the location of the EXTRACTED game folder.

6. Once you have the file location, In the Exclusions Tab of Windows Security, select "Add or Remove Exclusions"

7. Select Folder and add the Extracted game folder to the list (The game should run and work properly after this)

*8. If you want to be extra and add more steps, just add each of the main files to the excluded section by doing the same process but instead of choosing "Folder" choose "File" and select the main files individually*

9. Re-enable "Real-time protection" and run the game to make sure the steps were followed correctly.


Hope this helps, Took me a while to find it while also risking my PC since I have other things downloaded that could've caused it to crash. If anyone needs anymore help, reply and ill get back to this whenever I can, Happy Halloween you gooners!

OK so it turns out if smart app control is on it won't let you play the game so you have to uninstall it then do the other method and the game should run properly make sure the mai file is whitelisted and it should work
