Some succubi made by Kain will also have scenes made by him: 2 of them in this new chapter.

Well, I've been playing through the prologue and I really can't see how people are complaining about how long it is. Granted, I'm half an hour in (where you fight the ogre) and the only games that had a longer period before the fun actually begins was Dragon Quest V, where you're wandering around two or three villages before you take up a dare to clear out a haunted castle; and that H-game where there's a gold rush over a mysterious dungeon that suddenly appeared and you take the role of a female mercenary who's gets tasked looking into what's really going on around town.
But as far as the pacing for this game goes, it feels kind of natural, so far; as opposed to randomly diving into the kinky stuff with a minimum amount of worldbuilding. And nothing is more entertaining than watching how the White Demon wastes no opportunity to insult her victim for falling for her charms right before he expires...And then there's how she acts, afterwards

As I understand it, this is mainly a job for the artist that he's working with. Since, you're looking at least 9 portraits without going into how many weapons and factions that they are. All Zion has to do is figure out how to swap out the character sprite and getting the right combination to display on the status menu. And it'll be a lot more work if it carries over to the sex scenes, especially since the demons have every reason in the book to get on top of you with most of your clothes on...Or just undo your fly and dig in, you know what I'm talking about.
Speaking of the succubi, is it powerful for a high-ranking one to retain her magical powers if she's been ousted from her clan. And if she's been kicked out, does she retain her clan's brand or does it change into the one for the converted women? Or possibly some obscure mark of shame, like how some countries used to tattoo their convicts.

I played a bit safer with this first game. Like "I want to create a more safer story about a hero against the forces of evil".
The ages going forward are very different. It will be more like a conflict of interests.
That's why I want to reflect the players choice with what he'll wear.
Did you side with the Veil? What about black and gold?
Are you a mage? What about a staff and magical rings?
Are you a barbarian? What about this two handed sword and heavy armor?
And so on.
I'm excited for the future of SC. This Era as a whole is more like an introduction to the series to me.
I wanted to play it safe, and stablish the lore before going deep into the factions in the second Era forward.

I like the idea of customizations down the line. As for MC being marked, I suggest going with a tramp stamp. It's simple and can be covered up by clothing for most of the game.

I actually finished that chapter, a few hours ago. It's actually worth offering yourself up to most of the Leaf Clan on account that you occasionally see the consequences of your actions, and the context behind this one is pretty interesting without spoilering anything. But my favorite scene so far is what happens when you submit to their general.

You can destroy her relic with pommel strike to make her less dangerous. Just make sure to not use an old save from previous chapters. Pommel strike was reworked to always hit while doing low damage and you need that 100 % hit chance or you can attack all you want and get nothing.
You can also beat her normally, just plan ahead and learn her attack pattern.
