Please read my review Zion of Olympus, I hope my approach was fair but firm. I have been watching this game with interest since it was birthed and I do not want to see it die.

I read your review. I have addressed those points many times over.

My objective is not to drop mindless sex. I want this to be a serious game at the same time it offers sex scenes.

Sex is a natural part of life, so it can happen with the love interests. A young and healthy boy meeting young and health, beautiful girls will most likely result in sex. It's natural.

Succubi prey on that. And so they use their unnatural beauty and magic to seduce and kill you.

This is also the age of invasions, so they are very open about fighting you.

This will change in the next Eras, when they become like the succubi we are use to, hiding then attacking their prey.

So, no. This won't be just a "porn game". I prefer to say this is a "adult game".

I'm going to act on a "temptation" here. But not necessarily the "good" kind and give my opinion on the concept surrounding the main threat, the "succubi" of this game. I think this concept of a succubus is very interesting, but will also say that I do not see them, in a literary and technical sense, as succubi. I have read from the dev somewhere that they are more like life sucking parasites. I only state that I am aware of this because the title of this game, to me, is misleading. And as much the dev said these are not monster girls, I somewhat find them as such ironically, because they kill you unforgivingly and viciously. Lore, story, and world building is really what drives me to games and I feel really compelled to say my opinion on this aspect of the game...and that is the story is wonderful with world building that is not even slightly attempted by most porn games on the market. Which unfortunately, I have to shy away from this game itself, despite extensively reading up on said lore, due to one simple and incredibly frustrating aspect of the lore...you die from having sex with them. My reasoning is below.

TL;DR: Because you die from a sexual encounter with a parasite, I find it a sexual turn off, and thusly, find no reason to really enjoy the sex scene itself. It feels more like one-off, non-canonical fap material. I'm more of a fan of setup and world building, so this isn't my cup of tea. It is because of this I do not feel they are true succubi, but to the devs credit, was the point and they are more like parasites. I find it incredibly frustrating you cannot at least survive an encounter with even one of them and I really REALLY wish this concept didn't exist in the lore, as the concept of them, other than the fact you die from them, is incredibly interesting and a turn on. But this is your game, you make the rules, and I'm not gonna be that guy that tries to force it to change. I just wanted to share my frustration on this. I don't necessarily "hate" the game or lore in anyway and I want that to be made clear. Having distaste for something, and becoming a hater of something is two completely different things. If it came off more in the "hater" way, I sincerely apologize. I did not judge my opinion based off of gameplay, but only off the lore. I may attempt to try out the game to see how it goes, though.

I understand what you are saying, and I thank you for taking your time, but you and I can say that of every single developer, basically.

All developers work with a fetish. Take Lust Grim developer, for example. I don't like paizure, it does absolutely nothing to me. And I get frustrated with their games because that's basically more than half of the content and I love their succubi.

This game was created for people who enjoy energy drain and dangerous succubi.

I think you might enjoy it more once the optional girls (like servants) and love interests start to get scenes. In this game there will be 2 servants and in the next game 2 more will be added + the love interests will start to get sex scenes.

It was before (at least the sex scenes) but the remaining animations from previous chapters will get removed from the gallery once the dev updates it. The reasons are too much time was needed. The plan is to release a new chapter every 3 to 4 months.

With 100 chapters in total this is a must have to finish the whole project.^^

I see that there are not many saves shared so here is my folder.
First saves are from a fully done Chapter 3.
Starting from the last instead there is a save before any sex encounter of cut scene.

Since the developer hasn't still implemented a serious gallery this is the only way... (and even the small recollection room is missing the fantastic scenes after you defeat the succubus...).

Can't say I'm happy with the artist change... Not bad for sure but not worth a quarter of the first one.
Will probably have to drop the game if this remain the main artists
Real shame, I loved the game especially for the CG.

thank you so much for the save as for the artist change, I have no idea why that happened but as a person who works with artists all of the time for my femdom comics and stories, I can only say that sometimes they can be incredibly difficult to work with

But I have a couple of more questions, why dont they send female hunters to kill succubi instead of men or like you said well before in the forum, turn hunters into lichs to fight succubi without any problems (cuz you said vampires and lichs can't be drained)

I asked him about the women hunters months ago.

Basically, the Hunters mostly recruit men because they tend to deal woth orcs, ogres and such demons, and men tend to be stronger than women in general. The current Succubus invasion took them by surprise and so couldn't prepare women to face them.

And because they mostly recruit from the city stats; due to the age of the setting, women are important to keep a growing population while men are more disposable, so to speak.

And if a hunter gets pregnant, they end up out of commission for months, which is detrimental to the war effort. Zion implies it used to happen often.

And I understand the direction this game is going for, there is a good balance between sex and story. The story is good on its own, and the sex is also good on its own. Though I'm lass fan of femdom action, and I prefer to dominate the story. The game works for me well, I do let te succubi have some fun with my character but I kill them quickly without letting them have control.

I again hope zion that you develop the succubi more, and maybe even huminize them a little bit showing the interections between them and their "Relationship".

And about the main character, hope that you will give him some good armor and update for his sword, I was so bummerd to see that red winter has such a cool black costume while our MC had almost nothing and his new desgin is very low quality.

how do you add runes to your sword?

Just equip them in the same slot where your sword is. It might be a bit confusing but you are using the sword + the rune at the same time. Same goes for the armor (you don't have a armor item but I guess he player character can somehow add runes to his clothes).

As Dreamer44 already said you will get the current and previous chapters with each new build. So if it says chapter 5 it basically means chapter 1 - 5.

We shall see how much we will get. I'm sceptical about the whole thing too but imo it's for the best to enjoy it while it lasts. If Zion gets the whole thing done, even if it takes several years, big kudos. <3

With animations gone it's very important to offer nice CGs and quality text. If you can't enjoy the game without animations this might not be a thing for you. :/

I feel like my post was heavily misunderstood. Yes, every single person "can say that" of course. As was stated in my post, however, it was simply for me to express what I felt as opposed to trying to make a logical point to "defeat an argument". There were "logical arguments", such as how these succubi aren't actual succubi, but that was just for comparison sake for my expression of my feelings.

Some people post to try to make a point to cause a change, mine was just airing a grievance I had. It'd be pointless to basically say "I don't like this fetish" and just say bye, which...is what I didn't do and this statement implies that I did this, and stating "I can say this too" feels unnecessary due to this.

Will be easier for me to say short and condense here; no chance of survival isn't always necessary for something to be dangerous. And I am a fan of drain type succubi, this concept is not new to me and the way it is incorporated here is just simply an interesting twist for me, and it has been done before without the need for "I turn you to vegetable without chance of getting out of it". But I digress, I'll just see myself out before I begin arguing semantics, because that wasn't the point of my original post, and I honestly didn't expect you to take this away from my post. The point of my original post was just an expression of my feeling as well as an acknowledgement of the world's amazing lore...which I felt it wasn't taken this way unfortunately. This kind of reminds me of those vintage European movies that manages to have a lot of nudity in them and managing to tell a story without actually being porn (since it doesn't focus on the sex, although it doesn't really try to hide it), if you know who Tinto Brass is, you'll know which movies that I'm talking about.

But with the way SC is structured, sex is something that the MC should be scared about; since he's standing under the Sword of Damocles whenever he's sees an succubus and all it takes is him getting distracted by her "armor" before he's pinned to become her next meal. Sure, he can try to cheat his way out of it by regaining his will (and a health penalty); but it would help if some of the love interests' scenes came out earlier in the next standalone game. Since the main point of the game is bringing back the sex demons to the point where you will die by sex, you might get a better reaction if there's a few more softcore scenes in the next prologue in addition to reminding the audience on how dangerous the demons are. It could range from something innocent as an love interest teasing you to going all the way on the night before your journey begins.

Granted, we have the rogue hiding in a box and the angels being oblivious over their attire; but sometimes people need an carrot on a stick to keep playing, whether it is an growing percentage counter, an in-game tragedy, the smell of gold, or the White Demon going psycho on a guy, in your case.

And yes, sometimes it pains me to just "throw away" an awesome design after the fight is done. I even said that to the artist who does the sprites. "Man... what a pity that they are a one time thing." And this comes from me, the developer lol

I want the love interests development to feel natural. So the first game of an Era will probably just have teasing from them. An ecchi scene or even a temptation, like Medea had in this chapter.

However, expect sex scenes with them from the second game forward, since they already know each other and will take the next step in their relationship.
