Do the side dungeons, paying attention to the tier.

Whenever you find or get a rune, equip it. Instead of leveling up, the PC gets stronger by equipping runes and other objects, increasing his stats.

As it has been answered a hundred times already, the animations were taken out because they took too long to produce. Zion has a hundred chapters planned for the main series, so the current still images and sound effects decrease the production time from a century to a more manageable 20, 25 years.

Kainkout did the artwork until chapter 3 until he had to drop out for medical reasons and Devil-V has took over. As far as going back to the "innocent looking femme-fatelle" style, who knows at this point?

You can buy stronger healing items from the tribe merchants. Those plants you can find are way too weak for later.

Also take your time and study your enemy. Some attacks hit like a truck and should be blocked or reduced with physical or magical defense spells.

-Do side quests for unique bonuses;
-Do side dungeons for more powerful relics and bonuses;
-Develop your own tribe for unique bonuses;
-Hunt and fish for better statuses;
-READ what each skill does, since some enemies are weaker against certain types of attacks, and some can only be hit with certain types as well;
-READ what each item does. So you can go prepared against any and all succubi;
-Buy items from tribes to prepare yourself for each type of encounter.

I think that covers most of it. People say it's easy to become overpowered. Just don't try to force the story without doing anything else. Although it's possible, it will give you a headache.

We started as a nobody and when we reach chapter 6 all the cities will be aware of the Terminator closing in. Damn Zion, why you have to make us so OP?

How far can I develop Aeolos's tribe in Chapter 4?

You can build three areas to boost your character but you can't progress to stage two, yet. It will cost some cash to afford those upgrades but you find so much items on your way that you have all the cash you will ever need.^^

Unless you want to keep everything like I do (might have a secret use later, who knows) and farm items from enemies. Then you have to act wise with the cash.^^

I do, all you have to do is sparing or killing the witch, which is right in front of you in this save, to get access to the third dungeon. =3
