RPGM Succubus Covenant Generation One: The Cursed Forest [Ch. 5] [Olympus]

Am I missing something because I am using an old save?
I defeated everythingand still have no access to this "lightning spell" everybody is talking about. I finished all side areas and optional stuff (except dwarfen4 but i guess thats for the next chapter), and the fights were still next to impossible. Enemies hitting everything through blind (when they dont resist the cast ompletely about 66% of the time) , and you rely on repeating fights 50-100 times until a boss whiffs one of his three attacks in a triple-attack, because you basically are stuck between using a 100g heal item every turn just to somehow stay alive, every 10th turn or smth can be used to hit the boss. This cant be intentional, please tell me its because my save is old. I believe i imported it from chapter 1 2 3 by loading it into the following chapter, playing it, saving it and dragging the file into the next chapter game files. Had no other errors but the boss fights are just insanity. and if it is from my old save-file, what do I do to fix this? People wrote how easy it is and how OP they feel after completing the optional stuff, 3shotting everything and here I am needing 50 attempts or more. I wear all special relics.

Yep. There was a game overhaul on the full chapter 3. If you are using a save previous to that, you are underpowered.

Yep. There was a game overhaul on the full chapter 3. If you are using a save previous to that, you are underpowered.

Here are a few things that you can do to become stronger:
-Get better healing items from the tribes;
-Search for runes and equip them;
-Do side quests for unique bonuses;
-Do side dungeons for more powerful relics and bonuses;
-Develop your own tribe for unique bonuses;
-Hunt and fish for better statuses;
-READ what each skill does, since some enemies are weaker against certain types of attacks, and some can only be hit with certain types as well;
-READ what each item does. So you can go prepared against any and all succubi;
-Buy items from tribes to prepare yourself for each type of encounter.

You'll choose. Chapter 5 is not linear like chapter 4. It's similar to chapter 3 where you had free reign on what to do and where to go.

Nope. I'm a normal guy who happens to know a little of RPG Maker and became a developer. Gameplay, plugins, etc, aren't my strength.

I prefer to focus on things that I like to develop. Lore, characters, story, etc.

I mean if support comes plenty at some point you can always hire some external help that can work some magic with RPG Maker like going deeper into the many possibilities. You don't have to know everything, other people can share their brain if the coin rolls.
