Chapter 4 was released on 30 November. To make it easier let's say it was released 1 December 2021. That means 1 April would be four months but obviously the dev won't pinpoint down something troublesome as a release date. End of April is reasonable. Could be beginn or mid April if everything goes well.

Use Iron Will. It's a gauntlet skill. Can be used before battle.

I didn't work much in December. I always take 2 weeks to rest, considering how stressful it is each release.

And the other 2 weeks was a lot of meeting with family, Christmas, travel, etc

Something that I've been wondering is that if you'll give us an choice between which relics we'll use in the distant future. There's nothing wrong with using the Sword of Adalon and the gauntlet; but since the other three hunters have their own sacred weapons, it would be kind of interesting if there's some lore on then being passed down throughout the generations...Or one of them winds up in the private collection of an Elemental Clan duchess.

Not to forget that the duchess will have 4 scenes, one for each hole.

So, will be an dialogue choice or another case of "anal execution"?

Relics are usually intertwined with the story. It will not always be the same for each Era. Things will change drastically from Era to Era.

And yes, there will be anal execution with the duchess. You can experience her every hole basically.

And question too anyone in particular, with all the gear and magic stuff in chapter 4, we do alot of damage in combat and are basically only beatable if we want too lose, is he this strong in the lore or this some luedonarrative dissonance-

It's really hard to translate the gameplay to real lore. I was reading an article about dragon age and assassin's creed, where the warden and alexios/kassandra killing so many enemies is just gameplay features. They are strong, but not demi-gods.

I'd say, however, that in SC it's closer to the truth than not.

The true strength of the succubi, with exceptions like the royal generals ofc, are their numbers.

Not to mention that relics give you "super-powers" in the world of SC. The entire strength meter is based on how powerful your relics are, and not you innate power, most of the time.

So, yes, Aeolos is really that powerful with secret and ancient relics/runes.

It's really hard to translate the gameplay to real lore. I was reading an article about dragon age and assassin's creed, where the warden and alexios/kassandra killing so many enemies is just gameplay features. They are strong, but not demi-gods.

I'd say, however, that in SC it's closer to the truth than not.

The true strength of the succubi, with exceptions like the royal generals ofc, are their numbers.

Not to mention that relics give you "super-powers" in the world of SC. The entire strength meter is based on how powerful your relics are, and not you innate power, most of the time.

About the last chapter; are we getting another plot branching choice in it, or are you leaving it at two for the first game?

Each game will have a big choice in it that I'll ask in the final game that might result in the True Ending.

These choices might also result in unique encounters in the next game. For example: if you side with the witch hunters, you might face a unique succubus that they were hunting and asked for your help. If you side with the witch, you might be able to deepen the bond between you two. Etc

And I might go for a trilogy for each Era, instead of 4 games.

One of these 4 games was supposed to be more about exploration than story, so what I will do is to open the world a bit more in each game, instead.

Now that I'm finishing my first game, I have a better idea on how development works. Not to mention that I have side games like Warlock Saga that I'd like to expand as well.

The story won't suffer, and the quality of each game might increase.

It's magic. They drastically increase your normal desire to insane levels.

Even weaker succubi like White Demon can convince strong men to give up. Although a normal man could refuse and attack her.

Lesser and medium clans can be fought without a magical relic, but you will need to be extremely strong willed, like Red Winter.

Meanwhile, royal succubi overload your brain completely. You will NEED magical help to resist their temptation.
