Is there a difference story wise between choosing the witch or the witch hunters, or does it just not matter?
Yes, there is a huge difference actually, it will affect your stats, health, and if certain characters live or die

Fun. Could you tell me the results of both? I don't mind spoilers as I already chose the witch but I want to see if the hunters warrant a second playthrough.
On the witch hunters route you can save someone at the end of chapter 3, you have less overall health but you get stats from the battle with a certain succubus

I am helpful to a limit. Reshaping the game myself and having a date in the courthouse due to copyright violation isn't on my menu. Feel free to be more helpful in that regard my friend. <3
I'm even sharing my save files if people need a quick access to chapter 3 or 4 so spare me your rant and do something useful instead.

As stated in my post:
40 is literally 1 step. 35 requires 1 step north. 33 is branching and requires starting the combat. It's not possible to save during combat, so it's the last possible save.

You have to pay attention while fighting a succubus. There's always an attack pattern and perhaps status effect a succubus can deal. If you explore the world map and the main dungeons you will find items that protect you from certain status effects.
There is no classic lvl system by getting XP from defeated enemies or solved quests. You have to equip runes (attack damage from succubus, others in chests), fish and hunt, receive training, solve specific riddles/quests or find potions to increase your stats.
The more careful you explore the easier the game is. Some optional encounters are harder than normal ones. You either know how to deal with it or come back later when you are stronger.
The game is story heavy, expect many cutscenes. If you are not into reading much or not interested in story games, don't play it.
There is a wip comic for the game but it's only available for $10 tier supporters.

I can certainly remember all succubuses, their fight and the text, but non-females characters... No, I really can't.

Succubi are never lolis. They take form as full adult woman, but with a top model body. Skinny, very long legs, small breasts and ass.
You can literally see one taking form if you go the incubus route and talk with him later.
Development for a succubus is going from 6'0/180cm (most succubi are that height when first taking form) to 6'8/210 or more and gaining bigger boobs and ass.

Since Hell is the corpse of the Original Sin, Ascalon and he envied the creation of the Universal Architect, Veridatha, who considered proto-angels (who were very similar to angels) his best creation, Hell tried to mimic that, but as always, it's corrupted.
Instead of being beautiful and bringing life, they take life to sustain their beauty. A complete inversion of what the Architect wanted.
Any updates on Eden's Crest? I've been interested in that for a bit, since you've been talking about it.
