The answer is slow progress and dripfeeding content. To keep your subscribers happy, the idea is to let them know you are still working on the game despite the delays. That's how you maximize profits. But when you wait for Devil-V to heal, you are telling the fans that it will be pointless to be waiting for the next update for a while and you are telling the newcomers that it's not worth it to back this project, at least not for now. In turn, you miss a lot of potential profits. You know, you have been developing this game for more than 3 years, so you should start to get on with the grindset.
