The only thing besides the intreasting story was the art, hope the artist collabs either with zion again or with a diffrent dev. He is legit good at what he does.

I already asked for a status rectification to avoid confusing people.
For the fans, I'm really thankful for your patience.
I developed EC too fast and it caused me to burn out. And when I returned to SC, it was to finish chapter 5 which has a lot of teasers (including a lot of art) that will link to SC2 and Warlock Saga, so I needed to be extra careful with that too to connect the story right. Plus all the stress of having to relearn the game after such a long while without developing it.
A new chapter is very close and I appreciate all the support through the years. After SC1, I'll go back to Warlock Saga, which all art is already done, and the art for chapter 1 will be updated as well with the new artist, so basically, 2 chapters in 1 art-wise.

Over the past 4 years, I've genuinely tried to give this developer the benefit of the doubt, but he has never improved. Instead, he has even doubled down. Zion disregards criticism entirely, never acknowledging it, and goes as far as blocking anyone who offers even the slightest critique.
I can't do it anymore. I've followed numerous h-game developers for over 6 years. Some who gaslight their audience, others who vanish for extended periods and still expect continuous support, and even encountered outright scams. Among those he still sticts outs. Where do I even begin?
As mentioned above, he avoids ANY criticism. Instead, he retreats to his small Discord group with his supporters, where they bad mouth anyone who criticize the game. Once i saw some labeling the critics as "subhumans".
Many, including myself, find his games to be tedious in many ways, and I strongly believe that most are only there for the porn. I very much doubt that anyone genuinely enjoy the games beyond this aspect. And yet, he GENUINELY believes his games surpasses all h-games and implies they are superior to them. He even goes as far as to diminish other games like Lust Grimm, the robf games, claiming they're inferior and incomparable to his games. Although these game are so much better designed. But i shouldn't be surprised. It's coming from the guy who believes he is making making """a masterpiece""" and i quote "will keep working on it for the next 20 to 30 years".
Oh, did I also forget to mention that he instructed his supporters to leave positive reviews here few times?
Having said that, i dont believe he is a scammer like others mentioned. You can access the latest version for just around a dollar on Patreon. Burnout is likely real, and it could be much worse. He could be pretending to work on it while profiting from it, but I dont think that's the case.

It's so funny hearing someone say that zion doesn't take criticism and that he retreats to his discord where everyone labels people who criticize him as subhuman. Brother, I'm in that discord. When Eden Crest came out I wrote a multi page critique of some of the major issues I had with the game. And...he read it, and fixed them. We've had legitimate debates over the lack of variance in chapter 4's scenes(with the vast majority of them more or less being the same scene with different writing) and he not only engaged with the criticism, but promised to be better. Like you're just wrong brother.
Good to know someone do scare of losing supports and money.
Hey zion u gonna do more than 6-months per update.So any idea for adding animations back cause there is lots of T-I-M-E-S for your artist? or add more succubus? like eden crest. Of course u have to pay more that is downside.LOL

Cant say much about Eden Crest since i barely played but from just lurking the f95zone thread it doesnt seem like anything was changed. Mind you that fixing bugs, spelling mistakes are not the point.
"Uh i dont like this scene can you make something different" isnt criticsm. The porn itself is like the least of its issues. This game is still riddled with atrocious pacing, forced lore dumping, bad gameplay, awful combat even among h-games. Nothing has changed aside from crafting mechanics which funnily enough adds just more bloat to the pacing.
I saw people getting banned, myself banned a while back (i was very polite mind you), for critizing it. I guess he doesnt ban people for mild stuff like suggesting new porn scenes. Good for you i guess.
All We want is some honesty is all we want. If you said "Hey Guys, I need a personal break" im sure peoples reaction wouldn't be so outta pocket. But when you promise certain Chapter 5 releases multiple times and never deliever this is when people start getting upset. You still have a twitter post replying to multiple comments saying "Chapter 5 will be released in July". No ones gonna bite your head of if your just being honest. But brushing certain situations under the rug and just blantanlty lieing is frustrating.
Glad to see that we might see Chapter 5 maybe end of this year of beginning of the next year (though we have heard that one before). Just lieing to our faces get so tiring but I don't have the energy to discuss this and im sure you don't either.
Hope your passion reignites and you sit back on the throne of this game that you created beauitfully. As of now I'll believe chapter 5 when I see it.

I just hope to see a continuation of the series, there are positives and negatives like in every game, but overall I think the game moves into a right direction.
I dunno what happend to zion, I was out of the loop for at least half a year, since Eden crest came out( Which I liked, love the idea of sex robots and the pokemon like espact of that game, hope for a part 2 eventually.)

Developed EC too fast? This scammer is crazy bros. He think he worked too hard and too fast.It is a fkn 1year for basic gameplay. So basic with basic combat, Maps with lots of random wandering bitches to prolong the gameplay time. No side-quests.No events.Is this basic gameplay system too hard for you?
