Will there be like a Canon route? Cause, I feel like we can do alot in 20 chapters, if we like shale the foundations of hell, there's gotta be something Canon- I've got a feeling the Canon one so far is probably the incubus though..
Yes. There will be a "True Ending" at the final game of each Era. If you got that, you know what's the base for the next Era that I will use to build it.

If you got "Optional Ending 1/2/3/etc", then you got a non-canon ending that will not be used and will be left as an if-scenario.

If you pick the right options in dilemma event, then you can get a True Ending.

Yep. There will be big choices like the witch or the hunters for example. At the end of the 4th game, those who made the canon choices throughout the games will get the "true ending" for each Era.

Well, I beat her ass cause I wanted a certain archer man too survive, and more stats over health is always nice, but she seems more canon- 20 chapters seems like alot of decisions too make, will we get too see the others or do we have too play the whole game again?

Not quite.

-There is only 1 or 2 big important choices in each game. In this one was the witch quest and if you summoned the lord of gifts or stand your ground against the duchess.

-I'll ask you at the beginning of each game watch choices did you make in the previous one. Although, be warned, you will lose a lot of information and how things got that way if you decide to just play the 4th game and put the canon choices to see the canon ending.
"Why is this guy using this armor? Who's this new character? Why am I here?!"
^ Things like this XD

My suggestion: If you didn't unlock the canon ending, consider a play-through of the series with the canon choices.

I guess choosing a love interest is not one of the canon defining choices, is it?

I do wonder what these optional endings, these 'alternate timelines' will reveal of the story. The secrets that would be otherwise lost to time...

I could imagine...

  1. A bad ending: perhaps the incubus or the succubus take over and kill everyone
  2. Neutral ending 1: succubus and incubus get defeated/banished/sealed, etc. but since the real danger is over humans return to fight each other and war goes on for decades or even centuries
  3. Neutral ending 2: other forces, perhaps the Veil, take over and centuries of oppression starts but every empire falls at some point
  4. The canon ending: aka the good ending, where large scale war can be avoided and people can form a strong bond which will create new cities and realms.
I think those endings make sense if you keep human and succubus/incubus nature in mind.

What BigTombolo said. Imps drain mana, instead of life energy.

They are addicted too and need to feed as well, but the only way an imp can kill you is by exhaustion lol

If a guy summons too many imps... well... XD
Are there any thicc Imps???
