Might be a missing RPGMaker XP RTP issue? Try installing that or even dropping the files from it to the game folder. If not that then your game installation just isn't complete but I assume that's an RTP file

and Japanese EUC (font) installed to run. both of those are same setup file, what I miss here?I wish I had posted it sooner, but there was a time when I got a multiple crashes involving summoning Rovissa and running away prompted with a "Screen 0"-something error. I unfortunatly didn't screenshot it and I don't remember the exact conditions for this, as I cannot replicate the error on the fly anymore. Maybe Lars needs to have a specific status condition, a conditon which skips his turn? I mostly got it in Rodvin farming for levels and running away when the situation was not in my favor, then getting the crash and losing progress. My question is: Was this ever adressed at some point or was this known and fixed already?

I'm not aware of a crash like that and yeah if you can't replicate it, it's pretty hard for me to fix either. Might be a bug in the untranslated game too for all I know, though I could fix it regardless if I knew the conditions
If I remember correctly, she asks for your preferences so picking slow is best. Other than that, I think she doesn't counter buffs or debuffs at all so you can stack those to make it easy
I cannot get the english patch to work. I drag the icon to the password box but the option to decrypt is greyed out. Any help?
Once you drag the icon, it should automatically start decrypting, maybe it already did so. Or maybe you've got the wrong file. Make sure it's the sqicon.ico and not the Game.exe for example, which of course uses that icon
Yeah it seems like it does extract the data files, but the files are still in the rpgmaker format and look like a bunch of giberish when I try to open them with note pad. Am I supposed to follow both sets of instructions or is it one or the other I need to follow?
Yeah depending on system it doesn't work quite right... But all it's doing is moving the extracted files to the right place so it shouldn't be too bad to do that manually if needed anyway
I have the exact same error but nobody has proposed a solution to it.
I have patched the game and have the required RTP as well as the language font installed. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong????
NVM I FOUND THE SOLUTION!!!
So you basically have the folder that has the exact same name as the game that gets produced after the patch and setup. You just have to drag it to the parent folder and replace everything inside and it works fine...it was that simple no wonder nobody said anything about it, but if anyone is still facing this problem, that's how you solve it.
