As a pirate myself, I have no voice when talking about paid exclusives in games.
Though, when I *do* see this type of approach to games I oftentimes find myself wondering; In the context of the internet, and more specifically F95 and communities like so, it usually just gets bypassed anyways, and the income that would be made from it becomes stagnant as they wait for the next breach or hack to sweep up for customization and such.
I know that was my first thought when I saw I couldn't reduce my breast size or increase my body weight in the creation screen- "eventually, someone will find a way."
Granted, I'm unsure of exactly how else you'd make paid incentives in H-games, and it's actually a decent topic. This game is taking the Bioasshazard approach with customization and while I see the vision, I think even people who do get the paid version will still have remorse and will be unsatisfied, and almost wont even care about the actual game outside of the customization. Then again, it also means that whatever is behind that paywall becomes the *only* relevant thing. The reason I say they will have remorse in this context is, if you pay for the customization, and that customization doesn't actually provide what you're looking for, especially in a H-game made for these erotic fantasies, people will start to ask for more to make their money worthwhile. Eventually, you're putting more effort into features for customization instead of your actual game. Like, if I *do* pay and get these unlocks, will she actually have a flat chest, and will the bone size be wide enough for my liking, and if not I then have reason to have remorse or complain. If it's not what I want then I become dissatisfied and before you know it everyone is unhappy with the customization. Then the dev(s) are now having to save face by putting more effort into the customization and not what they actually wanted for the game.
Though, if it was absolutely necessary, what could you paywall? Not the levels or enemies, since that's apart of the player fantasy. Not customization since it's also apart of the fantasy, but also the representation of the player and if the player can't represent themselves at least to a pleasing amount it creates discomfort. Maybe, graphical settings, but you don't want to create a problem and solve it by having the player pay for it, just causes your playerbase to want to hack and modify files. Can't paywall a gallery since it would make playing the game almost pointless if it's not already a satisfying gaming experience... Hmmm... I really don't know how'd you'd go about telling the player to pay for something in a H-game without buyers remorse. People will feel pressured to buy something in a game that changes the experience almost spiting the player for wanting to have a fantasy. The player will walk away or wait for a crack ( i.e gallery videos on a adult video platform, sharing the paid game on sites similar to f95, or deliberately going out of their way to modify and unlock benefits )
Alongside the fact that you are already technically paying for the game's development via the subscription I don't think there's an approach that would satisfy both creator and player.
Anyways, the game itself is decent and I can see it being popular eventually with the right care.
