Yea this one is a winner. 10/10

Original and unique plot, good writing, amazing graphics/visuals and neat game aspects.
It's just the right amount of grind to reward and has a lot of cool features so far.
The ONLY thing I think needs improving is the repetitiveness of the bartending tasks and perhaps some side quests.
I really hope to see more updates of this, one of the best games I've played.

I love this game to death. Seriously. The concept is novel and the setting is great. The art is great too.

BUT... the art is used very sparingly (which I can understand because they need to work with the budget they have) and more importantly, the gameplay/mini games are really starting to annoy me. It is basically, the same filler gameplay endlessly of tending the bar. After doing it 50 times, it really isn't very enjoyable anymore and the game gets super grindy.

Let's see where it goes from here, but I feel it's at a tipping point right now.

    • Art 4/5 : animations would be nice but not necessary, some of the art used doesn't match the situation, i. e. when bar tending topless the graphic depicting Catherine's pussy being groped shows her still with her top on. Otherwise I really like the quality and direction of the art.
    • Story 4/5 : Story/dialogue is decent. The slow decent into corruption is good but the dialogue is sometimes confusing in reference to characters intent/motivations. I'm rating a 4 because most of the narrative setups and conclusions are good and the sexy scenes are well written, not too long and not too short.
    • Gameplay 3/5 : drags on sometimes but the concept is good and fun to play most of the time.

This is an awesome management game. It is more fun than most/any SFW games from the same genre. The story and world building are very good. The pacing is solid. The aesthetic is great. I don't really play rpgm games anymore but this is an exception because it isn't a walkathon.

While there's the odd spelling error, the game itself is a humorous, lewd, and simple time. I don't quite like the brewing mechanics, as I feel like they're unnessecary to the core loop of "Hot chick gets corrupted", but I enjoy the storyline and the developer clearly has a good time writing the jokes present in the game.

    Succum Brewery [v0.2.6a] review

Ok so I'm only like 30 min in but I already know this is a clean 5/5 any day of the week.

This is one of those rare cases where a fully competent author decides to make a lewd game.

I'm not usually one to give a 5/5 score to something that doesn't have the lewd content up front and center but this will be the best exception I've ever made.

I have reviewed a good bit over a hundred games by now here on f95 and only in a handful cases has the writng floored me like it did here.
Hell, I'd go so far as to say that this is probably the best written game of them all. It sneaks humor and philosophy on you when you least expect it. There's mystery, there's corruption and there's a pressing need to pay the bills. It makes for a great story setting.
Despite the setting being really weird, everything feels completely natural and it flows wonderfully.

I have never ever said "came for the titties, stayed for the story", i'm just not that kind of guy, so this will be a first for me.

The gameplay loop leaves something to be desired, and the RPGM engine is still shit, but I'll forgive all of these flaws, and then some. I just want to read more of these wonderful words.

Warmly recommended if you can appreciate writing with nuance and an intelligent sense of humor.

If your grasp on English isn't excellent then maybe some of it will go over your head, but for any native speaker this is a must try.

Really looking forward to where this goes next.

I think this is very good.

This game have a lot of potential, a bit grindy and It need a stat ui so we can more easily follow Catherine's development, but all of that can be fixed.

Right now, I think the game got a great base to expend on. More events, more freedom and more variety and this could be a 5*, but at the moment the pacing is a bit wrong and need more work.

I would also really love to have a bit of control about how Catherine develop am sure it would be a lot of fun to have an hub where we can ''custumise'' her brainwashing to our liking.

But overall, this is very nice and you should give it a try.

outsized and smart, especially for an RPGMaker title.

don't be fooled by the presentation -- this game is clever. weirdly so for porn. the plotline revolves around teasing and denying the player character, Catherine, slowly but surely hypno-conditioning her into the kind of bartender you wish worked at your local titty bar. that sounds pretty standard, but i think the real genius of it is how much it teases the player themselves.

this is a game with zero penetrative sex (at the time of writing). it's all hand stuff and exhibitionism at the moment, but it's all paced juuuuust right. it doesn't move too fast -- despite the fact that men are literally crawling out of the sewers to get a piece of you -- and there's almost no grinding, gating, or padding that would otherwise slow the game down. it manages to perfectly toe the line; just enough to make you want to see the next BDSM act and what depraved shit Catherine will get up to in the next bartending minigame.

now, good pacing is one thing, but i said the word "genius," and i have to expand on that. the thing that struck me most about that gameplay loop is that it puts the player in Catherine's shoes: the game is hypno-conditioning both of you at the same time.

Catherine and i want the same thing: to make her sluttier. i want to progress the game to make that happen. compare to any other RPGMaker title, where i have to collect five wolf asses to maybe get a picture of tits. i do not care about collecting wolf asses even though my player character might, therefore i don't really care about progressing the game and might just drop it and play something else at a moment's notice.

by aligning the plot with what the player wants and paying close attention to pacing, the game magically becomes so, so much better than much of what i've played in recent months. hell, you don't even get that combo with the vast majority of triple-A non-porn games. this, on the other hand, is a game i will absolutely come back to with each update.

also: the writing is top-tier. LimeJuice understands that there is no good porn writing and makes up for it with really good regular writing. it's the glue that holds the whole thing together.

At first I was drawn into this game because of the art style thinking it's all it had. However, I was wrong. I found the plot quite interesting and the gameplay, repetitive to a certain degree, was quite enjoyable. Not to mention the ART. The art is extremely good in this game to the point I'm actually looking forward to newer releases. I hope the dev keeps up the great work!

I was pleasantly surprised by this game. The beginnings of the story here were engaging, if a bit confusing at the start. The world building happened without a dedicated section explaining every detail, making it feel much more natural than a lot of other games on this site. The named NPCs are well designed and seem to have proper backgrounds, and slowly finding out more through events is satisfying. The art style (for both characters and maps) was charming! The bartending activity was fairly intuitive and worked like a charm. Slightly concerned about drink management going forward, as some of the actions during bartending seem like they could cause a backlog of unserved drinks if customers keep ordering different drinks. This wasn't an issue for me as of 0.2.6a, but I imagine it could get out of hand if future updates keep adding more drinks without a way to serve multiple at once. Only "actual" issues I encountered were a few typos, but those didn't affect my enjoyment of the game. I'm very much looking forward to seeing future updates, best of luck to the developer!

    Tl;Dr: Bolded

A game with great visuals and decent plot, but pretty poor gameplay for a very gameplay-oriented title.

Essentially, I love the art, and think the theme is interesting, but have some issues with the gameplay-loop and the minor details of the story.

First off, props to the dev for making this kind of sex-positive version of corruption. The theming here is handled uniquely enough that it bumps my score up just for that variety. Both the theme and the writing are intriguing, and the overall quality is above average for the genre.

...However, there is the kind of awkward flaw of the supposed main character's lack of characterization. As a way to illustrate this, I had to look up her name for writing this as opposed to the second protagonist "IO" the AI, and the tertiary character of "Amanda". I don't think there's anything wrong with IO getting the most screentime, dialogue, plot-relevance and character-developement during the game, but it does kind of raise the question of... should I be playing as IO? At the moment, the nominal MC's input to the plot is much smaller than IO's, and the blank-slate angle to her character in not as much weird as it is just kinda flat. I guess it's a vehicle to introduce the player to the world, and to have a character that can move around in the overworld, but those are actually her biggest contributions to the experience. Being very weakly characterized kind of compromises the "corruption"-aspect of the game, because there is a weaker impression of the starting-point of the character's mindset and personality, and how that changes throughout the game, and thus a weaker impact to the Mind Control/Corruption. In a single heroine-game it's one of the most important aspects of the story, so it's weird that it's the main weakness of the story.

But as I alluded to in the beginning, the biggest problem I have with the game is the gameplay, and even more specifically the bar-minigame.

    I don't think there's enough 'game' there.

The turn-based RPG-battle system is already a weak starting point, full stop. It works just about as a way to stucture a story, but it is very difficult to make it interesting, especially with a single protagonist-combatant. I think a game like this requires some sort of puzzle-like element to it's combat in order to create some variety and randomness. Even if you were to develop the current Alpha-build of the combat by adding enemy-types, targetting etc., I don't think it would be enough without also adding some kind of extra-layer of complexity on top of that. This is kind of important to the game, because it is part of the core-gameplay loop that is supposed to be the game's main way of getting resources.

I'm not saying you need a full Karryn's Prison-experience of modular fights etc, just that you need the bar-minigame to be more random, less repetitive, and probably a little bit more decoupled from the standard RPG-battle system. I suppose different customer-types and priorities per-battle would probably be a starting point.

It might sound like I'm complaining, and I kind of am, but it's mostly because I dislike pure VNs. At the moment, the gameplay is kind of weak, so the game plays more like a pure VN for me, and as a VN I'mn less lenient on story-weaknesses. If the game had good gameplay to back up it's story, then I would be more comfortable praising only the good parts of the worldbuilding and characterization as additions to a enjoyable gameplay-experience.

An exceptionally promising little corruption game-in-development. Hits a lot of good notes so far, interesting to see where it ends. Updated regularly. Simple but fun gameplay loop, stylish art, good soundtrack. Certainly a game to keep an eye on.

The gameplay is still very raw and boring at the moment. But the quality of art, humor and dialogues is simply incredible! The author should definitely focus his efforts on the visual component. It would be very cool if there were player-made choices in the game. Say something? Do something? Not to let the game decide for you, but to give the player a choice where the character really hesitates. And add interactive sex scenes. Then it will be a masterpiece.

Really liked it. Felt a bit different than most RPGM games which is a very welcome sight for me since I don't like those that much.
Not a lot of walking around aimlessly, quest straight to the point of the game, cute designs, likeable enviroment.
Can't wait to where it goes

It's nowhere near finished of course (v0.2.5 so far), so I might have to come back and lower my score later, but I really like the game so far.

Games where you actually have a job to do (with decent mechanics, and lewd stuff scattered throughout) are always more fun to me than the ones where you're a passive observer, or where you just wander around seeking out/avoiding sex scenes. The timing of the drink pouring minigame is a bit irritating (especially on the shotglass), and doesn't add a lot to the overall bartending mechanics, but that's a minor quibble and one they move away from once you get access to wines and mixed drinks.

I like the themes of cheerful corruption or consensual mind control. It's clear right from the start that the heroine is being altered by her experiences, and she/you are given multiple opportunities to leave if you don't approve, but it's equally clear that (if you stay) she prefers the changes, and her fate here is better than it would be anywhere else in the setting.

The art is good. The writing is funny. Most of the characters are enjoyable, from deuteragonists to random recurring bit npcs (though I have problems with a couple of the more major side characters). Progression rates seem reasonable, which is rare to see in such early builds. It would be nice if the end points of the various side paths were telegraphed more clearly so you didn't waste time checking back for content that doesn't exist yet, but that's the kind of thing that will only be a problem in pre-alpha releases.

If you're just looking for hardcore fucking, give this a pass until it's much further along. The story is about slow development and there's multiple factors preventing anything from happening to the heroine until she wants it to, and it's only like a quarter of the way done, so the most you'll get to see is masturbation, exhibitionism, and a little groping.

But if you're looking for something cute and funny and lewd and clever, and you have enough time on your hands to waste some of it on a work in progress, I doubt you'll regret taking a look here.

From what I have experienced of this game, I really like the Direction this is headed, the gameplay is enjoyable, I thoroughly enjoy the concept of the story and the direction it would appear to be headed, I have no criticism with the Artwork, and like the new feature of the Drink creation process, would obviously like to see more adult content to be added, and did like the idea of someone else's comment about some outside of the club interactions with NPC's, maybe that will incorporated for a further update down the line.

In all I am constantly refreshing the page in order to see the next update and would ideally like to support the creator directly, sadly not in a position to do so, however I thought the least I could do is invite others to play this game and if an a position to do so, support this creator!!

Genuinely can't wait see what happens next, almost wish I was a CHUD!!

It's a corruption first game, if you aren't into a slow burn narrative driven game, this probably isn't for you, but for those who want that, this is the game you have been waiting for. Art, Writing, Management, it's got everything down. As of writing it still is in it's foundation, so things could fall off, but I sincerely doubt they will.

Great art, funny and well-paced writing.

Centered around the bar minigame from any number of previous games - Violated Heroine, Defenestration, Third Crisis, Karryn's Prison, etc. Nothing new here. But it's exceptionally well-done.

The mind control/corruption themes are artful and refreshingly organic.

Adore this game. Perfect amount of corruption, mind control, sexy outfits, and interesting characters. Looking forward to more!

Already an amazing game but if I had to ask for anything it would be more choices and more bondagey shinanigans. **hearts**
