Plus that one picture where Miller is in the background shaking his head because MC once again isn't taking constructive advantage of his alone time with Sophie.
You’re right, I didn’t notice that detail.
As I said long ago the MC is very awkward or at least he starts that way in the first chapters, gaining confidence as the day goes on. I’m totally ok with this change even if it’s somewhat fast since I can’t stand awkward protagonist, although the MC’s awkwardness worked perfectly in this scene, even to his advantage.
I´m not sure about that
. I always have listened and even see with my own eyes girlfriends betraying themself for a guy, i didn´t see it in men yet, but of course men betray between them too.
It’s more apparent to you because when girls do it it causes a big scandal, they talk behind each other’s backs and spread blame to undermine their rivals socially, making them look like backstabbing sluts in the public eye.
With guys there’s no such thing, there’s more of a big fight and open confrontation, a spectacle for everyone to see. There’s no such thing as blame to spread, only one guy who got cucked by the other and has to restore his “honor” otherwise he’ll be made into a laughingstock by his peers, girls included.
Still, girls are more considerate of each other’s feelings and friendships play a larger role for them socially, they don’t wanna lose that over a guy as easily, unless they consider that friendship disposable.
These are all tendencies, but it’s usually how it goes.
