I am not sure if this is a troll or a bait post because it really feels like it but for the sake of the argument i am gonna take it seriously and try to reply as such.
With that said i have no idea how anyone is liking or saying this is correct. The writing is SHITTY??? Compared to what? A plethora of barely comprehensible VN's that we have on this site? Characters act like they are in the movie Room? Ok this desperately reeks like a troll/bait post.... The Room is the most notorious so bad it's good and I haven't come across a single game on this website that i could compare it to, even the truly terrible games on here are just boring or frustrating no game can be described as it's so bad it's good... seriously i challenge anyone to find me a scene in Summer Heat that's even 1% as nonsensical or bad as this
The Room is not as notorious as it is because it lacks subtext its notorious because it's poorly written, poorly shot, poorly edited, poorly acted, etc... It's a terribly made movie to the point of it coming of as entirely comedic and thats why it's infamous. Summer Heat is basically a slice of life it doesnt need much subtext or exposition which still might come later, it's just a random dude in whats basically a summer school surrounded by hotties. How many games on this website have more of an exposition than that? Majority of games are still "you live with your landlady and 1-2 roommates" and that's it, that's all the game has going for it.
Summer Heat has nicely written dialogue and characters for a adult visual novel, it certainly has NOTHING close to the The Room, what a ludicrous statement.
How does the main character wonder from one sex scene to another? The game has been out for 2 years, had had 5 updates and all we have so far are 3 sex scenes, 2 of which happened in the last update alone. How is that wondering from one sex scene to another? The devs even mentioned the game wont be a harem game so you literally couldn't walk from one sex scene to another in a single playthrough most likely as you will eventually run into a wall because i assume you cant romance all the girls at the same time. The game is not story heavy it's character and dialogue heavy and it shows, while i do believe that the game does far more than most because it still has a weird meta narrative surrounding it that i havent seen in other games like the dialogue changes if you scroll back or some teasers of possible supernatural elements, not to mention attention to detail with stuff as simple as Bree goes to masturbate in the bathroom and when we see her later on she is wearing different panties for obvious reasons, small things like that but noticeable if you pay attention.
You say the game has shitty writing akin to the Room, you say there are plenty of stories on here that are better written than this game. Ok, name me 10 games with better stories than we have here? I'll wait cause i am desperate to find out what you consider to be good written stories.

Hello, everyone!
This week we've been clearing a bunch of coding tasks that have been sitting in the game scripts. We've also been working with Eve and some of the extra art in her scene. We worked on this scene before in the very beginning of the dev cycle because there's a certain way we want to deliver it, and now it's finally coming alive with renders. We'll continue to work on the scene this weekend.
Sound of silence
We also worked a lot with SFX this week. We've been getting new sounds for a while now and even considered recording some of our own foley. And before anyone gets any weird thoughts, it's not the lewd kind, sorry! Mostly everyday stuff that we can't find elsewhere.
During playtesting, we discovered that some ambiences that were added and deemed pleasant, Npx couldn't even hear. When asked about the ambience in a scene, he simply replied "What ambience?" Because as it turns out, he is deaf as hell.
It made us wonder how many players are experiencing the same thing, which is why we'll be adding a Set Your Own Volume splash screen in the beginning of the game. That way, players can set their own volumes and not sit in silence like Npx did. There's also a shiny new Default Volume button in the options to go along with it.
Which girl do you think would go best with this splash screen, vibing to the sounds?

How is it that they are making their own sounds?
Very bad done, very very bad done, what they have to do is use the money they generate on patreon to pay songs to artists and then to keep them in the game they have to remove the lewd scenes from their VN, I thought everyone knew that .
