Status Update #23
Hello, everyone!
This week we've been working with shapes, fingers, clothing and many custom morphs. It can be a bit of a grind sometimes since since Daz3D wasn't really made for soft objects and shapes. The program mostly excels at stationary 1-time fashion shots. Pushing the program further can be as fun as it is challenging, and a little bit of Blender always makes certain assets pop better. Especially when they're touched.
The Valentine's render also previewed one of our sets that will be in the game: Schaboinky's Restaraunt. There's a couple more sets waiting, such as the escape room, VR rooms and a quaint little massage parlor. You might have spotted some of these already back in 0.2 but they haven't been visited in-game yet. They will be used as date locations later. There's also a gas station with toasters.
We've also worked on Ember, coded some lines and SFX. We're also considering of hiring a voice actress for more special sound effects, such as breathing.

February's Influencer poll for the monthly special has concluded and Cassandra won! Funnily enough, she's one of the first characters introduced in Summer Heat but hasn't been a part of any custom or monthly render so far. Time to let her shine!

Does anyone keep track of who is winning in this game of publishing the status updates first, Wonder Wolf or you?.
The winner, when version 0.7 comes out, will receive a special render of their favorite girl as well as a new toaster, the latest model, in the color they choose.

Lol for me it's definitely not a competition, i always get a email notification when a new progress update got released and then I look if someone posted it already or not, if not i do it and if someone did it before no big deal, we don't get a price here for the fastest guy.

Nah i give up honestly, it is very frustrating to have to be in front of my computer every Friday nights, not knowing if they gonna post it a 11pm, 12om, 1am or whatever other random hour they feel like it and that a lot of times it's for nothing because Wonder will have posted it before me. I took over the previous guy because i didn't mind but if i have to keep fighting Wonder i'm done, he can have it ^^
