You called me stupid?, You just made an enemy for life!... I'm lying, I'm joking, you're one of the most reasonable people in the thread, I can't take anything you say the wrong way. Maybe I shouldn't have generalized so much, I'm not saying that all developers should have a shark mentality and that those who don't expand their team are egocentric or lazy, I just find it curious how some developers who have the opportunity to hire people and don't do it use the same explanation: "Only I can make it perfect", and that there are exceptions to the rule that VNs are exclusively 1 or 2 person projects.
Yes please don't take it the wrong way, i don't think that you are, just this sentence. I honestly struggle for 10 min as whether or not i would write the word "dumb"and felt bad doing it. But yeah i say plenty of dumb stuff all the time too, it happen, so i figured that it would be fine and hope you don't take offence on it.

Anyway, i try to be impartial, logic and reasonable even tho i'm obviously in the "supporter camp", it's so sweetforce of you to notice :p

Yes i wrote this sentence only to make this dumb joke.

How sure are you that we will have to wait 200 more days for 0.7? I was expecting 2 months tops. They already gave us a preview render of Ms. Hill spraying us with some liquid a couple status updates ago.
Devs said they wanted the update to be closer to 0.5 numbers, so yeah, probably 6 more months at the very least . Peeps who are saying "early summer" are very very optimistic imo, feels more like late summer/September to me.

I will tell you that I accept what you wrote, but I want to add a fact to the equation, they are from Brazil, the salaries are not the same, I don't know how much the minimum wage is in the US, but what they earn on patreon (not counting steam) exceeds 127 minimum wages in their country. You don't have to think only about how much they earn but add the country of origin of the developers, maybe in the United States if you earn 2000 dollars you don't make ends meet, but if you earn 2000 dollars being a developer from, for example, Argentina, you are already earning more money than 80% of the families in the country, OppaiMan does not hire programmers or artists from the US, they hire people from Brazil, therefore their salary is cheaper. It is better not to talk about the subject anymore because they will delete our comments.

I just want to add that we have to be patient, this update will be the best of all, I assure you, Eve's monthly special is similar to Mia's before her sexual content comes to the game, it's horrible to have to wait 200 days (approximately what's left for 0.7), but you have to have faith in God, hallelujah my brothers. And if they're going to include Helen as a possible monthly special, we're all doomed, include Mike too, nothing matters anymore.
I was trying to be careful in mentioning US dollars, and acknowledge that in many parts of the world, the math works out better. Minimum wage in the US is criminally low. A full time job at double the minimum wage in many areas still leaves one in poverty here, and without the benefits of access to decent healthcare. I saw someone in another thread express it in terms of housing costs. In my area, a basic, 30-50 year old house, 3 bedrooms, 1 or 2 baths, under 1,300 square foot, can cost over $350k to purchase. And we are in the rust belt where things are "more affordable" than on the coasts (NY, Miama, LA, SF are insanely more expensive)

I've just had my first play thru, and Eve is certainly the most intriguing to me as well.

this is a Pirate forum
pointing-upward (1).png
I can see few users who aren't supporting the developer (financially) but cursing him for the delay in updates.
The above post, but also every single AVN that I've supported, or bought I've pirated first, so there is that.

Filthy pirates often are potential costumers, seeing as a majority of the popular devs started here. Disregarding people's criticism just because they didn't offer the life altering sum of $2-$5 to the devs is kinda silly. The fact that someone can afford to and grandstanding others that can't support is beyond cringe, so I hope that wasn't your intention. :Kappa:

One of the most fascinating things about the AVN genre is that the black market is its biggest market, and so it is common practice for even fully legit* devs to have a presence here to advertise their games and interact with the fanbase. Not all do of course, some have gotten too big for their britches and forgot where they came from ;), and some don't like this dependence on the pirates for marketing and refuse to (publicly) show up here. I first found AVNs on Steam, played a few popular ones there including one that is a nexus for cameos, and while looking for games those cameos came from (that weren't on Steam) I found this site. Now I've played many more and still buy the good ones on Steam or itch, but I never would have found them if not for sailing the high seas.

No early summer release? How could you say such sad words without a problem?

Seriously it's not easy to tell when the new update will arrive but between End of June till August, I think is the most realistic release date.

This. After getting burned on one, I will download from here to see how it plays, then monitor update frequency before I support a dev.

Some I support on Patreon, others I've bought from Steam. If a dev only does one release a year (or less in some cases), doesn't have the game available on Steam with updates included, and has a crazy minimum membership level on Patreon, then I am not likely to support them consistently.

Idealy I'd like to see 2 or 3 updates a year. Ok, who am I kidding, I'd love to see monthly, but I understand how unrealistic that is. At 2 updates a year, I start to forget the story line and who the characters are in the game. It's hard for me to get back into a game once I hit that wall.

Its been 5 whole months since the last update and they have not yet even started talking about a possibility of when the next update might be. The devs seem to be sticking to the 1.5 update a year model, which is just insane to me.

Its taking so long between each update that i legit forgot all the conversations i had with the girls, i forgot most of the scenes, i am starting to forget what some of them look like...This is just silly, just hire another person on your team if you can't handle it with just 2 people.

I dont wanna sound like a broke record but if this update takes 6+ months to release, whats the point? Its not like the updates are huge or anything, they are surprisingly small for the amount of time they take.
true. but youll have the opion to change the color of a toaster from what ive surmised. thats big news. and releasing disappointing updates is something you should be accustomed to at this point. no fun allowed, so say the devs, expect when mia rapes the mc

Next step will be the option to change the setting on the toaster so when it pops, the bread is toasted to your specification. It's next-level interaction like this that will make the difference.

Also the upcoming integration with AI so it delivers you something that tastes almost, but not quite, entirely unlike toast.
