Status Update #40
Hello there!
Hope you're all enjoying the summer, either by sweating out in the sun or by hiding away in the darkness behind closed blinds and the AC on full blast.
The focus has continued on
Bree's and
Sophie's scenes. We upgraded some props and fixed a couple of clothing simulations that didn't look quite right. We're also going to be trying some new angles and possibly a split screen effect for a scene to see how that turns out.
We've also had a nice, successful rendering stretch. No render mistakes or crashes, which is wonderful!
However, outside of rendering, we did manage to break Daz3D for a few days. We had an issue where loading a scene would report missing files, and even the scene file itself was reported as missing despite being right there! That's just perfect. The cause ended up being some new custom morphs that overwrote older morphs and caused some funny distortions. These end up looking like something straight out of a horror movie sometimes, and maybe someday we'll render them out for a show. The horrors of 3D fuckery.
Next week, we'll continue working on
Bree's scene. We might also get to begin working on some other much awaited content.
Other news
We made a quick render for Midsummer last week, featuring
Eve in a new dress from Robison's sweatshop and a swirly straw. You'll also get to see
Eve wear this dress in-game in the future, as it has replaced another outfit that was caught lacking.
