I didn't tell you I never used the button because I wanted to unlock every scene first , so the button also unlocks the diary pages that's great

Why do all the answers in my math homework show up as incorrect? (For example, 2-4 =-2 (option 2 (-2)) I move the slider to it and it shows up as option 2, but the answer is wrong.)

middle click or spacebar to submit the answer is the only thing I can think of.

As Notforlewds said, you are selecting the correct answer but not actively submitting it, and running out of time makes it automatically incorrect, which is what's happening to you. You can use the mouse's wheel button of the spacebar to submit it.
