Overview:
This is a game about someone who has the option to emerge from a grave family illness in the shape and form (s)he chooses.

The game is early alpha: one of the main plot lines is progressed to a point that is far from final. To be perfectly honest I do not know yet whether I will ever finish this game since there are options that I cannot do justice since they are out of my personal preferences.​

Another Blauz CYOA. There's just something about his writing that I can't get into. Maybe because it's hard to follow and is just way too much. Needs some more brevity.

In all honesty the dev's games tend to be finished. However, he adopts a weird, sorta bombastic, maybe intentionally flamboyant writing style that is a) annoying and tiring to read and b) imho he lacks the language skills to properly support it, which brings out the cons of the previous point even more.

And another thing is, over in TFgames, most of the times anyone dares to offer criticism the reaction is childlike to the extreme, kinda akin to "nyuck nyuck, I covered my ears, can't hear you". I mean, fair enough, you wanna write in one specific way, good for you, but not everyone that has offered the dev such a criticism was being malicious or something.

Could you perhaps get someone who DOES like that kind of stuff {whatever stuff it is} to do the writing/plotting, and you just do the coding?

If I'm being honest... I kind of wonder if it's all just some elaborate troll, especially after that game he uploaded with mspaint-level graphics a while back. I mean, he has to know how it all sounds, right? Especially after all of the criticism? And with the dozens and dozens of games he keeps writing? It goes beyond just a dubious experimental style, and well into "deliberately ticking people off", in my opinion...

Well, I guess some people like it, though, so maybe I'm just being too suspicious. If one refuses to hear criticism, and listens to everyone willing to praise them, a person can end up in some pretty cringey places.

Still... Any time I accidentally read something he put out, I kind of feel like I've taken some bad drugs or something...

I'm pretty sure its because English is his second language. I mean it literally says "A Foreigner\'s English" in the language section on some of his TFGames.

Its more like a 3rd of them tend to be finished, but to be fair there are plenty of Russian developers up there who never finish any of their games (and still start multiple patreons).

While I agree with you, there's still the fact that half the "criticisms" I read up on here are something like "I don't like this [fetish]", or "please put this [fetish] insert here". There's a reason why that backlash has become so common, both due to idiots putting down useless reviews and people having shit taste in "fun" porn games.

Neither of them are good Female protagonist games, degrees of lewdity lets you play as female or male, so its really not part of the female protag genre, and life choices is bad because I've been waiting years for it to finish. But if we're talking about HTML female protag games, you can try out stranded and bimbo house as they're pretty much done. If we're talking about Female life Simulators you're out of luck as the only good ones completed there are RPGmaker games, and even then they aren't that good. You could try the QSP games, but they're also unfinished. There are quite a few good ones on RAGs, but the problem there is that you're using RAGS. Maybe COC?

Hes been doing this for more than 5 years, its pretty unlikely this is a troll. Surprisingly his language has actually improved.

Also for everyone in the thread talking about his writing style, its actually very similiar to several of the poorly translated games I've played on QSP, mostly the Russian ones. I'm pretty sure its a Russian thing and not some kind of quirk by this particular author.

To be fair, open/sandbox games such as life choices and qsp games like Girl Life or Big Kuyash won't ever "get finished" as they're open ended and don't have a directing plot/story that can end, except for the obvious bad end. I don't see it as a flaw of the genre.

My main gripe with all of Blauz his games isnt the fact they are always unfinished. It's the engrish, incomprehensible plot lines and archaic notions like the whole "your a slut if you have sex before marriage" and "Man wont marry a non-virgin, so she becomes a whore"

In all honesty it seems the writer is either a rather strictly religous person (no offense meant to anny religion or religous person, i promise) or is a admirer of almost medieval values. Either way it seems to hinder and impact the writing so it looks like something written in the 50s.
