how to fix grey background in freemode?

Click 5 , it should change the background it worked for me

I've tested and it works for me. Only issue is with the missing backgrounds in Free Mode. Checked it with a 100% save.

Where did you put your BepInEx folder ? In GameData folder right ?

And in plugin folder there are these folder right ?

I've attached 2 screens. Maybe you have the wrong BepInex.
EDIT: Rename your game folders, no Japanese, maybe this will fix it.
EDITEDIT: Before the nerds throw rocks at me: No Kanji.

Well, it's a really well made game and the animations are great
Unfortunately... there are only a few animations, so the free play mode ends up being kinda bland.

Explain "few". The demo has like 2~4 scenes, and about 13~15 animations when I played it(positions and variations overall).
That does not includes the ADV's animations(story dialogue/body gestures/facials).
Did you got scammed by a fake game or something?

Anyone know if deleting the translation tools would fix the positions not changing in both IF and Free Mode? I'm aware they're messing with the rooms in FM, but this might be a different issue?



Edit: Also just realized I can't select chapters in routes I've completed

I think that unfortunately but this game will need a manual translation because auto is braking everything. Also previous games had manual translation although it was years before the dawn of AI.

Can someone upload one with uncensor and eng trans or atleast one with eng trans. Because i've spending 2 hours trying to figure out why the translation isn't working. I try reipatcher and manual bepin install, but both don't work. Reipatcher refuses to generate a patch and run version of the exe. The manual install i can get the window to pop up ingame with alt+0 but nothing is translated. Or atleast can someone help me figure out what the hell is going on???

Is too early to assume it wont have a DLC. We dont have a prior case yet, but its been 7 yrs since their released their last game and alot of the mindset of the game industry has changed as a whole.

It might be because your game folder is still in moonrune, change it to something else. Also the auto translator breaks the chapter select and free sex mode so........

You must clear that chapter first before you can select it.
