So after 9 months of waiting for a new update, it turns out that someone who has no intention of trying Evil Asshole or Psychotic Knight paths has no reason to even download this new update because there are simply no new content on normal vanilla paths.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid that it's time to give up this game, because after almost 5 years there is no light in the tunnel to wait for the end of this game since we have 1 update per year and in addition this update is only for those who prefer rape instead of normal romance.

What a disappointment and a waste.

yeah changelog gave it away, so... nothing to download for me either. If you cant manage multiple paths, dont make them... i like the game overall, but its one of those examples where it would be better if there werent multiple paths, or maybe only two paths not more.

You don't need the patch anymore.
There is a taboo option toggle in the preferences.

I just dont get the evil asshole path....Why even bother with it when its just a lecture and "dont be bad" and you end up in prison. Why waste the time coding and rendering it for this ?

You all complain like little bitches Naughty captain is not interested in dark stuff for whatever reason. So closing the evil asshole and psycho paths is a good thing overall. Why make paths you're not interested in? Work on the vanilla routes if that's your jam.
Now he only has to stop retouching scenes from 5 years ago and move forward with the rest of the story

Most devs don't know how to migrate the original RPYC data over when updating RenPy versions... which generally leads to everyone having to restart their playthroughs due to old save loading failures. RenPy's compiled RPYC files contain much data but one of them being the save file's point locations so when an old save is loaded RenPy knows where exactly in the scripts to go.... otherwise it's a mess of rollback exception errors ad nauseam.

So, I'm guessing your post is entirely sarcasm, ain't it? I'm on my first cup of coffee (~0540hrs here) so I likely missed the joke to be fair.

I haven't played this for a long time so my saves wouldn't be compatible anyway.

I'm waiting for the steam release before I jump back in.

So let me summarize: you're crying a river about something you've stolen because it's not what you expected. Well, everyone can sure express their opinion. But everyone should be clear about the level of legitimacy from which they're doing it. You wrote that it was a waste. So please clarify: what did you waste on the dev? Don't say "time". The dev didn't tell you to steal from him to waste your time. It's not the dev who wasted your time.
