Let's be clear. I want that game to be completed as soon as possible too. But I don't want it to be rushed.

The numbers are proving you wrong. In the next update there is like 17k words of new content, and 2.5 k words of reworked content. So no, he doesn't rework more than he create. And honestly, even if he was, I wouldn't see it as a problem. The reworked content is way better than the original content and the rework only improve the game. You may not like it, but the story has been progressing.
If you want him to work more, maybe can you support him ? He has a day job. He would surely be more efficient if the game had enough support for him to dev Summer Scent as a full time job.

I don't get it. You can read in nearly all threads how people complaining about forced plots without choices, but when there's a game where choices matters and leads to a lot of branching people whine about development times. As if the dev could live from this game and doesn't have to work in his free time on this project.

"Choices matter" isn't the same as "make one bad choice and someone gets raped". There's a huge spectrum between the two and this game is like too many choices while also way too eager to trick you into a bad ending.

You're probably right, but I downloaded a few different games from GoFile today, this was the only one to trigger it so that seemed weird to me.

Definitely know who that is... OH right, the origin of their cameo in CS. I think when I wrote that post asking about it I was thinking I was on the page of a different game with Summer in it (Heat, I think). Couldn't think of seeing any cameos in that game at all. Thanks!

You're probably right, but I downloaded a few different games from GoFile today, this was the only one to trigger it so that seemed weird to me.

They have many different servers and addresses, and someone could have reported this file being a virus. I get nothing though so.

That's your browser's fault (I have no issues). Use MEGA's official app, MEGASync.

Thanks, finally got it done after an hour or so, and I used the Mega app previously and still bugs, my computer doesn't like Mega for some reason, I use Firefox and update it frequently

MEGA has issues in the browser (any browser does) with files over 4-5GB, same with uploading the same.

The app (which has been updated since you've last used it) is miles better than using the browser.

Except when you start getting corrupt downloads, you can't upload to it half the time, after a while GOFILE swaps your link with some random file, or removes it for unknown reasons, it's also blocked in many countries. GOFILE is just so flakey, it's a running meme for uploaders here and hate using it.

There are issues with all the providers, most developers use MEGA as it's easy, mostly free (you get 20GB), has business type setup (similar to MEDIAFIRE) and if they go paid it is super cheap.

Dev Update #271

v0.6.6 and the night of Day 6.
I spent some time reworking the story map for the night to come. I trimmed the story tree a bit and rationalized some ideas. It's still a lot of content, however. Let's have a look at it.

The green squares are scenes while the grey squares are variants rather than scenes. So... We're looking at 15 scenes.
I divided the content into 8 different clusters. The scenes inside each cluster are linked together in one way or another.

I don't really know how much content this represents.
Of course, I have notes about the content of every scene, and from that material, I could guesstimate how much volume of words and images will be necessary for each part. And I will most likely be wrong, obviously, as I have a tendency to get carried away and let the content feed itself. Anyway, there are a lot of scenes but I hope they'll stay reasonable in size.

I'm going to start with the Eve Love cluster which will contain the paths Eve Solo Love, Dual Love, and Weird Triangle. I'll add one reworked scene to the mix, most likely Day 2 Scene 3, which should be very short.

I hope I'll be able to go faster on these scenes than on the last few updates. I really need to feel like I'm making some progress. Stagnating is depressing.

I'll work on that next week, along with some corrections to be published in v0.6.5a.

yes you can avoid it and be with both of them by making the correct choices. Somewhere along the way you fucked up.
