So... After a week in hospital, I'm slowly getting back to work. Posing scene 34 is progressing gently. The poses aren't difficult, but I have to spend some time simulating an outfit every other shot. I haven't measured it, but I have the feeling that the simulations are what takes most of my time on these scenes. Anyway, I'm up to shot #42, but I have good hopes to progress faster next week. At least until I reach shot #90, then the posing will become more complex.
Pc Chan finished rendering scene 33 and started working on scene 34. The first 30 shots are rendered. The results look satisfying enough to me.

Progress, progress.
I've reached shot #92 of scene 34. The easy part of the scene is now behind me. Most of the remaining shots are of the action kind and will require more attention to the posing, and thus, take more time to deal with.
The first 50 shots of the scene are already rendered. So far, I'm satisfied with the results. The scene happens in the dark, and I'm going for the "supernatural light" kind of night. Preserving the feeling of darkness while putting enough light in the scene to show everything that needs to be isn't easy, but it's oddly satisfying. Of course, I have completely abandoned the idea of realistic lighting, but I think that's for the better.
I can't promise anything, but I might be able to publish v0.6.7 before the end of the year. It will essentially depend on whether I do animations or not, and which scene I will rework. Maybe I won't add any rework to that update and will publish a v0.6.7r later, with a couple of old scenes reworked. I feel like having v0.6.7 out before Christmas is kind of important.

Scene 34
The posing has considerably slowed down this week as I had to work on the first animation loop of scene 34. The movement was fairly simple, thanks to a very close framing, but it still took forever to get a satisfying result. Or at least I hope it will be satisfying, because my test renders were quite small. I had a lot of issues with the clothing. Turns out that dForce is total crap when it comes to animation. I'm not really surprised, though. It should have been obvious, as that tool is, most of the time, also complete crap when it comes to still shots. After hours of trying to get a decent simulation, I had to let go of the idea of having any kind of realistic movement in the clothing. The clothing will be static. I apologize in advance.
Anyway, the loop is 150 frames long. That means it's going to take me from ten to fifteen nights to render it. Fingers crossed it won't be in vain. I put it on top of my render queue. Right now we're at 12/150.
I might add a second animation to that scene. I'll see when I get to that point in the storyboard if I think can pull it or not.
When it comes to still shots, I reached shot #128.
I also had to do some minor rewriting. And adding and removing images from my storyboard. Nothing out of the ordinary at this stage of the work.
I also invested some time in trying some new assets for the breasts and nipples of the girls. That new thing is supposed to allow collision and deformation. So far, the breasts themselves look good to me, but I'm not entirely convinced by the collision thing. But maybe I can get it to work. I'll have to do more tests.

Scene 34
I'm almost done with the posing. I've reached shot #162, and only 11 shots are remaining on my storyboard. At that point, all the difficult poses are behind me. I should be able to complete the posing of Scene 34 on Monday.
I finally decided not to do a second animation for that scene. The only spot where I could have fitted an easy loop was a complete reiteration of the first loop. I felt like it was a useless repetition. Also, to be honest, I'm feeling the limitations of my hardware. With about 15 days of rendering on the current loop, I have very little room for improvisation and error when it comes to animations. It simply takes too much time to render.
Speaking of which, I've rendered 108 frames out of the 150 that compose that loop. I'll need another 4 or 5 days to finish it. The image quality looks okay to me. I hope that the loop will be good enough to justify the time I've spent on it.
Next week will most likely be dedicated to coding. I have some work left on scene 33, and I have to bring scene 34 into the script and send it to my proofreader. I will most likely handle the post-processing of scene 33 while I'm at it, and test it in-game.

I'm done posing scene 34. Rendering is slowly progressing. Pc Chan will need another week, at least, to process all the shots.
I also made some decent progress on the coding. Scene 33 is now in phase 3, and Scene 34 is in phase 1, which means I also sent it to my proofreader, and he has already done his job.
The visuals for scene 33 have been post-processed. I was a bit worried about the amount of noise and artefact visible on the shots, but in the end, the final images look great, and I am honestly satisfied.
Scene 35 has been cut and prepared for posing. I planned 162 shots for now. I'll see if I can fit a short animation loop somewhere in the mix. I'm not sure I'll be able to, but I'll try.
I started working on the music for that update, and more likely for the rest of the game too. I'm experimenting with some new options I can't yet talk about, but there might be some changes in the soundtrack coming.
Next week, I'll probably start posing scene 35. I don't like posing without being able to immediately render, but I'm not going to wait a week for scene 34 to be complete.

The rendering of Scene 34 is complete.
I had to rework a couple of shots that showed some clipping or some unpleasantly situated spotlights, but overall, I'm kind of pleased with the results. The light is pretty weird and supernatural, but I kind of like it.
With the rendering done, I can post-process the images and progress on the coding and test the scene. I'll most likely take a day or two to work on these tasks next week. I'm kind of eager to see how the animated loop plays.
Posing scene 35.
It's ongoing. I had to rethink some part of the lighting, and the lack of space in that part of the set makes the framing difficult; finding a decent camera angle is sometimes difficult. I made it up to shot #31 and started rendering the scene as soon as scene 34 was done. The first 16 shots are done and look okay to me.
I couldn't work today, because of some medical appointment, but I have good hope to make some better progress next week as simulating clothes is about to get... much simpler.
On a personal note, my surgery is scheduled for the 20th of November. It's a fairly simple surgery, and the surgeon is very confident it will go smoothly.

I... didn't work on scene 34 at all and focused solely on posing scene 35.
I hoped to progress faster now that the characters have transitioned from their clothes to their underwear and pajamas, but I was apparently a complete fool. The pajamas I choose for Kelly need simulation and take forever to simulate, when it doesn't simply explode. We're talking 25-minute-long simulations with no insurance to reach a satisfying result. It's just brutally painful. I can already tell you that this is the first and last time she will wear those pajamas, and I can't wait for her to lose them.
I still manage to make some progress, and I posed about 50 shots, reaching shot #80. With this, half the scene is posed.
Rendering has also progressed a bit, with the first 50 shots being ready for post-processing. I had to pose the rendering, I'm waiting to have a bit more shots in the queue because these images render faster than I expected, with almost 15 renders a night. And the renders look pretty good. I'm especially satisfied with the night renders.
I'm probably going to postpone the work on scene 34 until I'm done posing scene 35. I probably need a week and a half, maybe two, to finish this before moving to another task.
