I forget the details, but the game has some kind of encryption/anti-cheat/obfuscation or something going on that makes modding much more difficult than what would be typical for a Unity game
Their first game, HoneyCome, had some optimization mode on that made modding difficult, but the claim there was that it improved performance, which was definitely an issue in KK/KKS, so it was somewhat believable. This time is even more difficult though, and a lot of the changes seem to be pretty deliberately anti-modding

I wouldn't be surprised, Japanese devs tend to hate people modifying their games. Even though that's directly what made their original games sell so well but that's their business. Plus side is pretty much all games get cracked eventually, barring denuvo

Is there a way to peek on two characters having sex? I see them go into the room and hear the noises but that’s it. To use blackmail do I have to catch them doing it in public?

If you are thinking about the koikastu peeking system sadly this game does not have anything like that, you just need to see people doing the nasty for you to black mail them, and the same applies to you.

No idea the last message i saw on discord from ScrewThisNoise was in February about summer heat it's been nothing but silence since then. And the last time they spoke about summer vacation was October.

Again KK wins yet again by doing... absolutely nothing. Kinda sad how illusion can't top their magnum opus from 2017 that doesn't require an autistic guide to install like AA2.

Jeez and I was getting excited, it definitely falls short of AA and AA2 in terms of many things. Well, we can only wait to see if they add DLC in the future.
