more so AA2 was a smash hit for illusion and people are still modding and keeping the game alive and naturally alot of people wanted another game.
when koikatsu happened people were over the moon until more details came out and it turned out to just be a character creator. All hope seemed to have been lost when illusion closed down.
before this game announce i was seen they recruit for c# dev for new game,
Not sure this game will be c++ like honey or c# like kk
If c# like kk we can hope for mod

AA2 is just a higher ambitions game, it's a life sim with an actual gameplay, with much more replayability than average Illusion game, which is most of the times is simply a scene viewer, harem simulator, or just studio pretending to be a game.
If Summer Scramble will be at least as good as vanilla AA2, it'll be already a huge win.

So true, scene viewer games is like reading adult manga or watching hentai, outdated old stuff, not fun anymore.
In life sim games you are inside the show, the main character, that's a man of culture's dream lol.
While waiting for a game that may or may not come out you guys can play modded sims 4. I doubt any porn game is going to top that anytime soon, especially when it comes to life simulation.

We will see soon, judging by screenshots on Illusion site there might be some roles, like policeman, or shrine priestess, ofcourse it might just be only a costume for cosplay reasons.
There is mention of part time jobs, so i think there is some hope for differrent roles.
But it's an Illusion game, it's probably good idea not get too much hope lol.
That means anyone expecting a life simulator, AA3, AA/AA2 remake or whatever in that sense is pretty much asking to be disappointed.
I've being following this game and, even though I saw several AA/AA2 similarities, I honestly doubt ILLGames will bother making SVS deliver a better or even on par experience to that of AA/AA2.
My reason to think like that is Honey Come, ILLGames debut work, which, for me, was a watered down knock off of "Honey Select 2 Libido DX" (the Steam version). Still, even as a knock off, I admit Honey Come was pretty enjoyable.
Based on that, I expect SVS will be exactly what it is, a simulator in which I'm part of a community where I can observe and interfere. If that experience will be to my liking or not, I'll know when the game comes out on August 30.

This is exactly what AA2 is, anyway, you can always control one character you like. If you watch gameplay video on Illgames site, you'll see differrent coloured rings around characters, the one you control and one you are interacting with, literally copy of AA2 mechanics.

I think they think it's gonna be more like Room Girl, but screenshots and info on the site make it much more likely control will be closer to AA2/AA1 + being able to choose mc.
, over the really basic stuff like being able to swap characters in the morning, how rumors change the way npcs interact with you, npcs dragging you into private places to bone, etc.
There's also a brief look at the Character and Traits tab in the character creator, with a comparison between a High virtue girl rejecting sex, and a low virtue girl trying to bang in front of a group of people. There's also a shot of what I'm assuming is a yandere rejecting the PCs break-up attempt.
Yep, this info update pretty much indicates that the character interaction is at least on par with AA2, maybe with some QOL updates.
I just hope the NPCs have better and a wider range of reactions to things happening in front of them, AA2 kinda has that issue where some are kinda blind for no reason for a few seconds.
