Wow, all those old comments saying mods weren't going to be a thing or plentiful, and the EN version wasn't going to be considered for a while or whatever, did NOT age well at all...
Honestly, most of the negative comments were just jumping the gun and making assumptions. Glad to see them get consistently proven wrong.

There's even already some semi-signifcant mods showing promise like that mod to increase the number of maps.

The Map one is actually going well. I tried it out myself. Dark did good with that one. I'm not sure how far the mods will go, but I will say that people deem this game worthy of modding. POV in Sex Scenes Mod, 3rd Person Mod, Map Expansion, Slider Mod, Testing Modded Personalities, etc. Things are going well so far. Me personally, just give me AA2 School, Character Limit Increase (I'm fine without it though) Modules, Ported Personalities (which might be a thing in the future) and a in game menu to tune down settings and I'm good. That last one is already coming along a bit thanks to Marco's Cheat Tool.

Fingers crossed that they don't take forever though, still possible it releases in 2025
Do you know how many mods were made for this game, even after all this time since its release?
Do you know how many mods were made for koikatsu sunshine, in the same week it was released?
If you don't know, I suggest not talking about things that you don't know.

This is the fire that will make this game alive for years to come. Personally I wanted Room Girl, the last, best realistic style game that Illusion have created, to have that kind of love from the modders and community, but this game's a little shallow and I understand the community sentiment, but still...

I only hope that Illgames doesn't abandon us realistic style fans, and someday created a great games with real style just like AI Shoujo with updated graphic like Room Girl.

You sound like a fun person. :HideThePain:
As someone who played Koikatsu Sunshine repacks, there only like 5-6 mods that really made a difference. Mods like uncensors/cocks/pussies, bloated bellies, ahegao, clothing/accessories, and sliders were the only notable mods; most of the others in the Repacks alone were kind of just... bloatware tbh. I know I'm not alone in that sentiment, as I saw others who felt the same way in this thread and in Disc servers.
We already have some decent uncensors and clothing mods popping up, which is already about half of the relevant mods anyways with much more on the way, so it's not in a bad state right now; and the fact that Illgames is pushing for a global release is proof that many people enjoyed the foundation that this game has so far. This negativity is just annoying at this point, like honestly, what are you trying to accomplish here?
But to each their own, some people will never be happy. Just keep it to yourselves pls, this is a porn thread site where we need good feels here. (y)

also goddammit, I need to stay off threads at 6am before I write more paragraphs over petty things...

Don't move "goal posts". I literally don't care which mods you consider "made a difference" or "relevant". It is not even relevant to what YOU said in the first place. Incase you forgot, you said exactly this:
Wow, all those old comments saying mods weren't going to be a thing or plentiful, and the EN version wasn't going to be considered for a while or whatever, did NOT age well at all...
So why don't you actually make that comparison between these two games and realize how wrong you are, instead of doubling down on your false claims and efforts at trying to make it look like people who actually know what they are talking about were wrong?

Let me put this in a way even dumb people will understand.
Amount of mods made for koikatsu sunshine IN ITS RELEASE WEEK: 1000+, possibly even 10000+
Amount of mods made for this game SINCE ITS RELEASE: 20, 30? Nah, I'll give you more. Lets say 100.
Now that even dumb people understands/knows this. Whose comments "did not age well at all" ?

Are there really so many mods for Koikatsu? I had no idea, and I did play that game for a while when it came out. I will say though that they even made a pregnancy mod for that game which is something i'd love to see for this one if it's at all possible. I'm no expert on .. well, anything, really, but from what i've read in this forum so far, it seems like they're having a harder time of modding this game due to some new changes by Illgames - sadly do not know much beyond that - which are creating difficulties for modders, so i'm wondering if that might be why there is a discrepancy between the volume of mods for some older titles and this.

I'm kinda hoping they still manage to generate some neat stuff for this game though, not sure how likely that is but this does seem to have the makings of a great game if it was expanded a bit.

No need to argue guys. I think the main focus should be the fact that, we're actually getting mods for this game ya know? It was a much harder challenge than previous games to mod, and I think ppl who doubted getting mods had a fair point. Even I kept expectations in check. I'd say we should just look forward to the future and see how far mods can go with this game, yeah.
