Just download a regular game and not beta version. And don't add anything else, so your saves will be compatible with season 2 of the game.

S1 is chapters 1-5, all included. You only need S1. Ch5 has all the previous chapters as well, but lacks some of the final reworks Ocean did. Some people prefer the old versions of some scenes, but there is really no way to integrate them properly into the canon story anymore. S2Ch1 will continue your save from S1, and it's unknown if mods will corrupt the save.

by the way I just noticed yesterday that Layla (the bartender ) has the same choker+pendant as Mila.
do you think they're related ? or just an common Asset thing? or is it something else .
I noticed Ocean does a sometimes foreshadowing with little hidden details that you notice only after.
I wonder if that choker is meant to mean something about their relationship. Maybe is it to relate with how she freaks out about "being into women" some past history maybe?

Given the detail Ocean goes to, I'd be amazed if it was an asset issue. There is no shortage of choker assets available, even old Poser ones work fine in Daz (I know lol). Plus, I imagine making a choker yourself in Blender is not the most difficult of Blender tasks....
So I would say intentional.

Personally, I tend not to look too deep into the same assets unless they're brought to my attention. I won't pretend to know how DAZ works, but my understanding is that you have to buy assets - it might be easier to just reuse small accessories or he might just like this particular one. That said, Ocean does have an attention to detail and a history of giving small clues, so you might be up to something. Now, what relation they might have, I don't have a clue.
