It's such a low res image, the face is maybe 100x100 pixels. No, not even that much, it's basically pixel art. How do you even make out her age from there? :oops: :unsure:
Maybe I could have made a better job if I increased resolution before trying to make her cheeks and chin fatter fuller, but probably not.

So given that, the ageism is purely based on player expectations of what is attractive, and most players are thinking like they're a horny young MC (even when the MC isn't horny). And the players have played all the other AVN's with landladies and milfs that are 20ish and have 18 yo tenants, so I guess brain muscle memory?

About Mila - the problem isn't that she is different, but that she keeps changing, and looks unnatural, in a game where almost everyone is mostly natural and doesn't change as much. Vic's boobs in Ch4.5 and Mila stand out because they're not up to the quality we see everywhere else. Noji's changes are a complaint because they made her look younger, but no one is making their stand on that hill, because it fits the porn logic of every woman being attractive to the player.

Consistency is the thing. I also don't think it's necessary to fix it, we can't unsee Ch1 Mila being different from Ch5 Mila, but there's hope Ocean will keep things consistent from here.

Marla does seems like a mature woman, I completely forgot her. I agree that it is not free of porn logic, but still is a porn game, there is no way around it. Is hard to say that you need a shoot of Vic's pussy when you take her to the bathroom, the thing is what is imerssion breaking or not. At this point I would argue that 25 years old Landladies are already so integrared to the genre that I kinda don't think about it too much.

Yeah, even though I don't notice much of this things, Mila is all over the place throughout season 1, is really immersion breaking and that is a bigger problem than she being too thicc, same thing with that awful Vic render in 4.5 is less that her boobs are too big and more that they look like rock.

The other thing is that the mature women in the bookclub on the whole look much better at being their age (Madison, Maddie, and Anna, even Noji looks more her age in the bookclub scene) but it's hard to believe Charlie is old enough to have Robin. She could easily pass for a student. It's a weird choice more than anything because you have these two people in the same scene sowing remarkably different ages - which makes it a choice, because can immediately see Ocean can render age (for example, Claire looks loder than Bella, but still seems like Amber's younger sister.) Anyway, in the same scene:

Compare Charlie to Madison. Would you think Chalie has a daughter or Madison? Remember Molly is Aziz's mum and she looks like a grandma. It's pretty haphazard as to who gets an ages look and who is blessed with the super moisturizing genes.

I wonder if Ocean first created the models of the women from bookclub and only then wrote the dialogues or the other way around. That could explain why Charlie looks younger than the rest because he could have created her with the intention of matching her to Nami's comment about Charlie reminding her of Vampire. Maybe without this Elvira or Siouxsie Sioux like makeup she would look older? Charlie looks like Ventrue from Masquerade

Yeah, I mentioned it in the other post, the MILFs at the book club look much more like their age, but then we don't know their age. Madsion could be a 50+ woman and Charlie a 35 one who had a child in her teen years. There are 40+ women who look like Amber and I have see 20 years girl that looked 47. Everybody is way too attractive anyway. There is not much to it beyond what Ocean wants and some form of porn logic is inevitable

As is said the game is written I would say that he makes the characters based on the script, so you makena great point.

While you do make a good point honestly the book club gal's ages didn't trigger my sus alarm. What age do you think Charlie is? I'd say somewhere between 36 and 42. If she had Robin at 18-24 and Robin is now a college freshman, it fits. If Claire is stated to be in her early 30's (which she looks to be around that age) Amber is probably not more than 10 years older. Which would match Charlie's age. And also Nojiko's. Nojiko is asian and we know what that means. I think she can pull 30 just as well as 40.

Oh that's just an example of how age seems to be pretty arbitrary - we know Noji is around 40, Katie is around 40, Claire is likely younger than Charlie, Amber (if she's a friend of WiaB's Bambi) would be a couple of years older than Katie (because Bambi was on her graduating roadtrip, Katie's still studying) Adrianna and Sasha are younder, Kelly seems younger, but Charlies skin is way too flawless. The others like Madison might be 60 or up, completely unknown. I guess the eternal youth of a vampire is the correct answer.

It's just another dreamstate/game logic to add. Amber does somehow look her age, while still looking incredibly hot. So does Noji. Marla looks her age. Charlie looks more like Robin's older sister, while Molly looks like Aziz's grandmother, not his mom.
