You are absolutely right I myself have know Millionaires that had everything a person could want and today are broke because of personal demons. So many people have told me if i only could win the lottery my life would be so much better and i always tell them money does not bring happiness, because if it did then celebrity's would be at peace and have zero problems. I have a friend who made thousands a week and let a women come into his life and drain his bank account dry now he lives pay check to pay check because of one mistake with a woman. I know men and women who on the outside looking in it would seems they have a happy life but they are addicted to substances you would never know looking at them, It just makes me thankful for what i have.

Even Patreons are not required to pay every month, they can buy the game during the release. Steam and Patreon are not connected, they are different audiences. The reason for the decline on Patreon is Ocean itself. If you copy its logs to Steam, then there will be fun there too.

not entirely correct. Game will be split into multiple seasons, and only the first one is on steam. Subsequent updates will only be on patreon until another season is complete, then that goes on steam too. So you'll have to pay multiple times in the future to own the full game on steam. It's still cheaper though than subbing monthly.

Nah, I don't think so. Moreover, many supporters bought it on Steam as well.
It's those who can't wait are leaving. And those who are thinking that Patreon is a sort of e-shop.
