This game is not at all suitable for busy people. Everything happens without a hurry there, including releases.

Well, have been playing this one for the past few days, and yeah, it definitely is the best one I have ever played. Not really a problem regarding that there are no sex scenes, the story is entertaining and intriguing enough to carry the game. The graphics are the best ones I have seen in an AVN, by far, and the models are fantastic, some of them REALLY gorgeous.
No wonder Bella is insanely popular, she is quite the character (and hot obviously). Complex and interesting, the kind of girl that after you go through her initial barriers becomes a ride or die as long as you don't betray her trust. Definitely my favorite, but also surprised about Zara and how she rose in the last chapters, didn't expect her to be one of the main girls and get such focus, but a likeable one who also has her layers and would love to know more about. While I don't expect this game to be a harem one, would be great to know the rest of the characters in a deep level, even if as friends. MC is a bitch, but honestly, a lot of 18 year olds are. And his evolution is great, trying to escape his depression and opening up to the world, giving such an emotional aspect to the game that in my opinion is one of its catching aspects. Nami is great too, with a peculiar personality that makes her stand up. Lot of nice characters honestly (and models) like the mysterious Sasha, the "too nice that seems sketchy" Robin and bondage-loving Maja, among a bunch of other ones that I would take forever speaking about.
Interesting last chapter, opening the story with a lot more of intrigue and misteries that would love to get to know. But there goes kind of my problem with the game: it is 6 years old (or at least the thread is) and so far we only have Season 1 completed, with 5 chapters of what I read would be 32? This is what, a chapter per year? Will it even be finished, considering life has a way to get between? Or will this just be the ASOIAF of AVN's? Potential to be the greatest, but holy shit, it is too far away to see completition.
Anyway, I'm sure that what I have written isn't something that hasn't been discussed before considering this has 2373 pages by the time, but I needed to share (some) of my thoughts upon finalizing it.

Really happy to know you have enjoyed the game. About the seasons, chapters and releases... Well, there are people here who can tell you better about it, but this game if my mind doesn´t fail was developed by two people, one of them left and then the project was taken only by Ocean. He has been working alone all this time (i think he continues being alone) and the first season "suffered" a remake, or if i´m wrong and it wasn´t the whole season then there were several chapters affected, this things spend soooo many time.
Yes, i know what you are thinking, 6 YEARS FOR THAT??? Indeed, there have been others problems related with Patreon, Steam and other music rights and that stuff, and Ocean is very fussy with his work, is perfect or he doesn´t stop (not a bad thing for me).
We have too the renders he makes like specials gifts for special holidays and those things.
I have said all i remember about why the project is really slow, even the first chapter of the season 2 is going to be massive, around 6.000 renders (more or less). One chapter for year is the objetive i think, or at least, i hope so, is slow, but very good stuff (imo).
That´s all i can say, i´m pretty sure other people here is better informed but i wanted to contribute

I liked the old haircut, but it made me think of "Something About Mary", and that Nami put cum in his hair when he was sleeping.
The best thing about the new haircut is the Emilio scene. Emilio is the best. "I know!"
Makes sense, quality wise it is amazing, and that of course takes time, specially if he is in charge both of the narrative and the renders and all by himself. If there have been reworks of some chapters it gives a bit more of understanding in the time taken to reach where it is, and also the licenses (by the way, amazing soundtrack, forgot to write that in my original post).Really happy to know you have enjoyed the game. I am a big advocate of the "if you want something done greatly, do it yourself" mindset, but sometimes stuff is TOO much, and I hope that he somehow gets a team to help him develop it further and at a greater pace. It is too great of a story to have it end in 3 decades. But well, let's just hope for the best.

I don't know why I'm still surprised, the guy has two weeks to post a dev log and still manages to be late.

Yea - it's a bummer when a dev posts a Dev Log or shares updates on Discord and the information is posted here so some people can complain about it.
Some dev's communicate about every other month, and I much prefer Ocean's communication level over that schedule.
We get a dev log every other week, +/- a day or two, and I have yet to see the world end for the lack of a Wednesday dev log on Wednesday.
Now - I suppose he could prioritize the dev log and interrupt his workflow and ignore the efficiencies gained by completing the tasks he is in the middle of, after all - slower production is what Everyone wants...
It would give certain people more to complain about - right?
That would also make business sense... right??
I'm looking forward to the next dev log, the release of WIAB and the eventual release of the 1st part of S2 in SG.
They land when they land, and I certainly will not suffer while I wait.
If you are suffering due to the wait - perhaps another thread will be a safer space for you to hang out... you know - to avoid the unnecessary suffering.
