Nah, he'd benefit more from the inverse. The fact that he takes the piss so much with these updates is resulting in significantly less support for what i'd argue is one of the top 5 most freely advertised VNs in the genre. SG is mentioned constantly within the community, even when its irrelevant to the topic at hand
...and yet you open his Patreon and he's treading water at ~1.2k. There are AVNs with significantly less free advertisement performing drastically better. A lot of people are looking at what SG offers, considering the absurd update timelines, failing to find the A in AVN, and taking both their support and football home.
Opportunity cost. It's not being considered.

This might be a dumb question that has already been answered, but why work on two games and complain about the amount of work you have been doing? Kinda just seems like the situation was brought upon Ocean's own doing....

The problem with Ocean is that he is working in 2 games at the same time. If he just dropped WIAB and focused in SG we would already be playing or, at least, have an release date.
