Honestly, after the latest update, I would not mind even a little bit. But it's never gonna happen. He has stated multiple times he won't abandon "Where the Mafia Began". And I believe him.

yeaaaah ! the writing was bad , sometimes even beyond my lowest expectations.
if i were to rate the whole episode would be like:
Visuals: (JAWS2) because the renders weren't as good but still better than the vast majority of avn's.
Story and Dialogue: (JAWS4 :the revenge) some parts were below decent but others were bad and some were straight booty juice.

It has always leaned toward a mafia-style story, even in the earlier version. It was fairly obvious that William was part of a crime family.
Beyond the controversial "incest" themes that some (Most) seem to endorse, the primary issue lies in the writing quality. With sharper, more engaging writing, Ocean could have crafted a less dull and cringe-worthy story. It did miss some good punch!
I just wish PixelLab had this much of support. I miss some good written VN these days.
