Well, once you take a hard look at the kin dof person she is, who breaks and enters, does hit and runs, generally not a great example for Nika to move forward in life. If you don't go on the heist with Bella, Nami mentions Nika doesn't need another charge, suggesting that he's had legal issues in the past and trouble is the last thing he needs right now.
