I don't mind a slow burn but I think the 2 highlighted portions above might be correlated for an adult game... IMO he should have at least had a couple of minor characters in the story who gave it up right away to spice things up if the primary LIs were going to be off limits for an extended period of time. It's been a LONG time since I played and I did like the story but I remember being pretty surprised that there were no sex scenes at all. If I remember right there was at least 1 scene that was kind of a teaser but nothing really happened. Most people are not going to wait like 3 years for the first sex scene...

I don't justify his actions,nor his motives.
SG was and still is a great game.
I'm exhausted of defending Ocean and his excuses.Some say S02 will happen in december or january,some say it will never happen (i think it's the latter),i just hope i'm wrong.

There was the kiss with Bella, the kiss with Mila, the kiss with Nami, the four way kiss... pretty sure there were multiples for MIlaand Bella, we won't count the one at the start with Summer.

You're wrong. Games without sex aren't in demand and generate tens of times less profit than games with sex.
SG didn't generate the expected revenue due to censorship and constant reworks, which killed the game's original atmosphere.

I mean have you seen the sport team ? They all look like studs. Of course the blonde one is gay but from a realistic point of view a guy like Jeff or the sunglasses guy should have drown in pussies.

But somehow girls of the game are attracted to impotence.

Been a LONG time but I remember the very early versions promising a dark, disturbing and interesting story. MC seemed to be a broken psycho (maybe even a school shooter), it had incest sexual tensions between the siblings at home...
Then it all got "remade" and censored to hell to fit in with Patreon/Steam. Sad times.

That’s such a silly but costly mistake. And it sucks because he’s losing a lot of money now. Damn, I feel for the guy. I’ll just buy the Steam version instead. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, and by exceptional graphics, it's not even the actual rendering that's so time-consuming. It's everything behind the render: posing, lighting, filling up the background, small expressions - and then redoing that over and over for each render.

Ocean's greatest strength is also his greatest weakness: he's a perfectionist. You'll never catch some character's fingers in the background clipping into their body; he's going over each render with a fine-toothed comb. The trade-off of this, is of course, time. Personally I don't mind a bit of imperfections if the updates come faster from a dev, but that's me.
